This chapter will be written in Bakugo's POV.
(I am so sorry it took me so long to come out with another chapter, there's no other excuse other then my life has got in the way. This chapter is EXRTA long and I am still planning on finishing this story.)

It was only a short time until the class got too sleepy and consumed by relaxation from the heat and fumes of the hot tub. Everyone's chatty voices and conversations died down after 15 minutes of us being here.

It took a while before Y/n and he arrived, but he could still tell she was enjoying the experience. Although, he knew she felt self-conscious due to the beautiful battlefield across her skin. It seriously pisses him off when she calls herself a zombie, or ugly. She doesn't realize how powerful and beautiful she truly is.

As he stayed consumed in his thoughts, everyone decided to climb out and go to the changing rooms. But Y/n stayed planted beside him with her eyes closed.

When the sound of the water swishing and people getting out finally registered to her, she slowly opened her eyes. Everyone was already gone. But he remained beside her, his hand still clasped to hers.

He didn't want to let go. He was scared to let go.

All he could think about was how many people in the world wanted to hurt her. To kill her, or use her for her quirk. The thought made his whole body tremble with fear and anger.

His eyes were pointed to the bubbles and fizz in the water, lost in his mind. He didn't even realize everyone got out of the hot tub, even when Kiri and Denki waved goodbye to him. He could feel that Y/n didn't keep her eyes off of him when she slowly scooted closer, she rested her cheek against his muscular shoulder and took a slow, long breath. He took one too, without her having to ask him to.

After some time, the both of them got out and exchanged no words. The changing room was dead silent as he got dressed into his pajamas, the echo of the room with every movement put chills down his back.

When he was done, he walked out of the changing room and left. He felt bad for not waiting for Y/n, but he could tell his stress and anxiety were putting pressure on her.

And he could let her get a good night's rest tonight, instead of her having to worry about him. Or fall asleep on the floor again because of him.

...even if that meant sleeping without her for just one night. The thought of it made his steps quicken and his eyebrows pinched closer and closer.

Idiot, such a fucking idiot.

The words hit his mind like a semi-truck.

Pathetic loser.

There they are again, reminding him of his weakness.

You can't protect her. You can't save her if she needs you.

His thoughts dig deeper and deeper into his skull as he struggles to unlock the door with unsteady and sweat-coated hands. When the door opens he quickly steps inside and slams it shut. His chest heaves for air as he hurries to the bathroom where he stares at his reflection in the mirror.

His cruel red eyes stare back at him, like an enemy. His eyes look more and more violent the longer he looks at himself, his breath increasing. His lips tremble and a tear falls from his eye.

Point proven. WEAKK!!!

His brain taunts him like cat and mouse, and he loses it. Thrusting his fist with all his force into the mirror, causing it to shatter into hundreds of pieces. Tiny unforgiving slivers of glass enter his skin and he lets out a surprising shriek of pain.
