Many knew of the black god of darkness who contrasts with Belobog, the white god of light. Both of them are similar to Satan and God, or Ra and Apep.
Chernabog is a represantation of pure evil.
He does not have a tragic backstory or a motive for his actions. Hes evil just for the "fun" of it.
However everyone depicts him as a ruthless monster, feared by all who encounter him. He was, after all, one of the most powerful villains.
Little did anyone know, that this certain god had a child.
Erebus Bog didnt know her father that well. When she was young, her mother sent her to Auradon.
Noone knew who's her father and what the girl was capable of, but they did know that she didn't fit in with all the Auradon kids.
She only heard stories of Chernabog from her mother. And that gave her a good enough view to why her mother decided to get away from him. However, she was more similar to him than anyone thought.
That she realized when she fit just right in with the others on the isle of the lost..
