Chapter 4 - hybrids benefit or detriment

Next morning...

Damn, what's this noise?? What ever! I slept on... Wait... No...NOO! IT'S MONDAY! And this noise is my clock!
I jumped out of my bed to get ready for school, as I felt someone in my room, so I turned around quickly to see who it was...

Trey:" You know, if you were a hybrid, you wouldn't need to wake up at 5:30 a.m. ...10 minutes before the lesson starts would be enough 'sister'."

Ugh! I hate the way Trey talks to me. And I hate the way he says 'sister', so cold, ironic...dark...just so...full of hatred.

Me:" Why are you awake then hybrid 'brother'?"

I tried to say it like him, but I failed. It still sounded nice -.- .

Trey smirked:" I'm not.. I just need to pee."

Me:" You're disgusting!"

Trey laughed:" Well, you asked!"

7:10 a.m.

I took my backpack and walked down the stairs, to the eating room.

Klaus:" Morning little princess, can you come home directly after school today? I'm planning a family dinner for today."

Me:" A family...dinner?... The only food our family needs, besides Freya, Kilian and me, is blood. So why would you eat dinner?"

Klaus:" Don't ruin my mood little."

Me while walking:" Fine! Let's pretend to be a normal, happy and HUMANLY family for once.
- I turned around and smiled at him -

Klaus with a bit angry face:" Just...don't come late!"

Me:" You better tell the troublemaker."

I opened the door as someone came running...

Kilian:" Hope, wait!"

Ki and I went to school together... Trey came alone in hybrid speed. I said goodbye to Ki and got into my class. In the first lesson I have history. But we still have 10 minutes before the lesson starts.

Trey P.o.V 7:50 a.m.

5 minutes after my siblings left, I decided to leave too. I must admit I woke up a bit late today, that's the reason I didn't have breakfast yet. I arrived at the school parking lot but I'm so hungry... Isn't this our history teacher? Why is he bleeding?

Mr. Connor:" Good morning Trey."

Me:" Good morning Mr. Connor. Are you okay?"

Mr. Connor:" Yes, yes I only ran into a wall..."

I know he's my teacher and my family says "hold back from humans, we don't want to get attention on what we are..." But I... I am so... NO! Pull your self together! That would only proof them all right with calling me troublemaker and all of that!
The veins under my eyes already showed up... Mr. Connor came near...what a idiot why can't he just leave...

Mr. Connor:" Trey, You don't look well... Should I send you home? Should I call your parents?"

Alright that's it, I can't hold back anymore...
