You slowly opened your eyes to see the white of the hospital roof, you slowly turn your head and see Mel who is sleeping sound asleep holding your hand. "M-Mel?" Melanie slowly opened her eyes and when she saw you sitting up and smiling she exclaimed "Y/N!! I thought I had lost you!" she said wrapping you in a loving hug and crying into your chest full of happiness that you were alive.
Melanie kissed you still crying full of happiness and joy that you were awake and well. You held her close to your chest petting her hair and softly crying happy you had survived and were still with the love of your life. Just then the doctor came in and said that you could go home the next day. You smiled and pulled Mel onto your bed to cuddle with her she kissed you and then fell asleep while you loving pet her hair. You looked lovingly at Mel's face stained with tears and kissed the top of her head.
