Where it all began

Year 830

Sean and Emily have been friends since childhood, and they both decided they would get married when they were older. Sean joined the 84th cadet core alongside his few most trusted friends, Erwin Smith, Miche Zacharias, Hanji Zoe, and Nile Dok. When he and his friends graduated, all of them were in the top 15 so each of them could choose whatever regiment they wanted to, most of the group went to the scouts, Nile went to the Military Police.

During the year, 830, Sean and Emily figured out that Sean was infertile, there for, couldn't get his wife pregnant, so he asked his best friend for help.

Sean: Hey Erwin, I need your help

Erwin: Sean Rivers, ranked 1st in the top 15 in the 84th cadet corps, is asking for my help

Sean: Oh come on, please just hear me out

Erwin: Alright I'll bite, what do you want?

Sean: Well, you see I'm infertile so I can't get my wife pregnant, and we want a child that is of her blood so I came to you to ask, can you get my wife pregnant.

Erwin: Well, that is a very big favor to ask

Sean: Please Erwin, I will owe you my life if you do this

Erwin: Fine, I'll do it

Sean: Thank you Erwin, you have no idea how much this means to me.

Later that day Erwin and Emily did the deed, even though it was awkward.

Year 831

Sean: Come on honey just one more push, and we can see our child.

Emily was in great pain, giving birth to their child, her screams could be heard all over Shiganshina. The one helping was an old friend of the two, Grisha Yeager.

Grisha: Cone on Emily, you got this.

Emily: Ahhhh!

With one final push, the cries were heard.

Grisha: Congratulations Mr and Mrs Rivers, it's a boy.

Emily: Oh, that's nice.

Grisha handed the two their newly born son, they had already decided a long time ago what to name their child.

Sean: Welcome to the world, Philip Smith.

Year 832

Philip by now is only a few months old, and even then had shown how smart he is, he was already able to form complete sentences. However one day when the survey corps were out in Titan land, something amazing happened.

Philip: Mama

Emily: what is it sweetie-

Emily was wide eyed at the site of her son standing perfectly fine.

Philip: Look what I can do mama!

Emily: Oh look at you my smart boy.

Philip just had that smile that can lighten up the entire world. Philip had Short blonde hair like his biological dad and his baby blue eyes from his mother.

Emily: Daddy is gonna be so happy when he sees this.

Just then the bell rang, indicating the scouts were back.

Emily: Speak of the devil, Daddy's back, let's go Philip.

Philip: Okay mama

the two made their way to the gate and saw the scouts, Sean was seen comforting a new recruit in the scouts, Ilse Lagnar, who had bandages around her head who was crying. Sean had saved her life when her head was in the jaws of a Titan.
