Erwin: FORWARD!
Everyone let out a war cry as the charged forth.
Erwin: IT HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN! THE 57th RECON MISSION! SCOUTS, MOVE OUT!
Moving through the abandoned city on horses, a few Titans were spotted, but were thankfully dealt with by the support squad.
Eren: Hey, do you think my friends will be deal with the Titans?
Oruo: Huh, if they can't then what have they been doing for the past 3 years-
Oruo bit his tongue, earning a laugh from Benji, Matt, and Allen.
Benji: They'll be alright Eren, don't worry.
Matt: Yeah, they're far stronger than you think Eren, they'll be okay.
Allen: Eh, maybe, OW!
Maria elbowed Allen in the ribs, it was pretty much their thing at that point. Allen says something rude and Maria elbows him in response.
Philip: Quit bickering you two.
Erwin: LONG RANGE SCOUTING FORMATION, WILL NOW TAKE AFFECT!
The scouts took formation, the newer soldiers breaking off into their duos, the veterans were broken off into their squads.
Alex: See you at the forest Philip.
Abel: Good luck with your squad kid
Nifa: Please don't die in the mean time.
Keiji: Good luck man.
Hanji squad broke off to get into their position with Keiji Haiker, Nifa Finnegan, Abel Teagen, and Alex Zoe.
Miche: Squad, into formation.
Nanaba: Let's move squad.
Gelgar: Good luck y'all.
Henning: Don't die out there kids.
Lynne: Yeah.
Miche, Furlan, and Isabel squad left to their positions.
Eren: Alright, see you Philip.
Petra: Don't get hurt alright.
Gunter: Don't go dying out there alright.
Levi squad left to their position, Philip Squad was in their position, then they were off.

Armin POV
It had been some time since the scouts set out of Karanes, it had been quite some time since a flare had been fired.
Thomas: It's quiet...too quiet, I don't like it.
Armin: Yeah, something is off.
Then, a black flare was fired from behind a tree line, that means one thing and one thing only.
Armin: An abnormal.
Thomas: God those things creep me out, and why is that thing walking like a baby.
Section commander Ness and Sys were able to quickly take down the abnormal.
Armin: Way to go Ness!
Thomas: Don't forget Sys, Armin.
Armin: Huh?
What appeared to be another abnormal with a woman like form was running straight towards Armin and Thomas.
