"my love, i'm home!" viola called out to lando as soon as she stepped in from the breezy outside, although it was summer and it was supposed to be warm everyday, the afternoon was starting to get slightly cold and viola had made the mistake of wearing cycling shorts.
"living room!" she heard him shout back, the immediate warmth of their home embracing her like a warm hug as soon as she stepped. insider, her shoulders dropping from being raised in the colder weather.
"where's winter?" viola asked lando as she walked into the living room, until she saw their dog raise her head about the couch, making viola go straight to her. "hi baby, did you miss me?!"
"she was sat by the front door the whole time you've been gone, crying, she's been here for the past ten minutes tho."
"i'm never gonna leave you again." viola cooed, scratching winters chin, which made her wag her tail even more than before pecking the top of her fluffy head. "even when i have to work, i'm gonna sneak you into the shoots."
"maybe we could actually talk to zak and andreas about that, winter could be the mclaren mascot." it was clear that lando was unaware of the comment that team has left under her post. "because surely is lewis can have roscoe, then we can have the lovely winter."
"awe that would be adorable, babe." viola pouted as she imagined taking winter to all of there races, their dog having her own garage headphones, all the photos would be taken of lando walking winter in the paddock, it made her heart melt at the thought of it.
"imagine her with her own little racing suit, my heart couldn't take the cuteness of that."
"we have to do that for halloween and i want no objections!" villa pointed her finger at lando playfully before climbing onto his lap, her thighs on either side of his. "but i'm so happy to be home."
"how was the game, love?" lando rested his hands on the curve of her hips, right above her bum, like it was a natural instinct to do so after the many times of doing it whenever they were in this position.
"chelsea won so that's good, it was almost as if i was their lucky charm." viola rested her arms on lando's shoulders, one of her hands sat in the mop of messy curls on his head, twirling a few of them around her finger as he gazed at her adoringly. "i ran into mason before the game."
"oh yeah? how was it?" he was intrigued. intrigued to know how the conversation went, if there was one. intrigued to know if he tried to make any moved on her. intrigued to know all of the details without seeming jealous.
"yeah, it was fine, he was asking about us so i told him that we were officially and he said that we suit eachother and that he's happy for us." viola had a smile on her face as she repeated masons words to be boyfriend, seeing the slight tense look he had. "those were his exact words."
"he actually seems like a decent guy."
"you'll have to come to the next match, you can see hailey aswell."
"if it makes you happy then i'll come with you." lando told her, pulling her closer into him as viola cupped his face in her dainty hands before kissing all one this face, feeling his cheeks rise when he smiled under her lips.
"babe, i've been thinking about something and i want to know what you think of it." she told him a few moments once she pulled away, wiping the most prominent lipstick off his skin.
"you're not pregnant are you?" lando's eyes widening as he thought about their chat from the other day., hun thinking the pair of them had manifested it to happen.
"what? no, no!" viola giggled at his reaction, watching as he visibly relaxed at the confirmation that she wasn't actually pregnant.
"pull out game strong." he mumbled, the comment going unnoticed by viola at first until she realised what he had said, a loud laugh escaping her mouth with lando's following shortly after.
"you idiot." viola playfully hit his chest as they laughed, one of lando's hands now in her hair as winter moved her head in between their bodies.
"what have you been thinking about, my love?"
"us going officially." her voice was soft and gentle, just like the way she touched him, whether that be physically or emotionally.
"you want to go official?"
"yeah and we don't have to if you don't want to, it's just since the conversation we had the other day, i've been thinking about it and it feels right."
"i was only suggesting it, i don't want to pressure you into doing it when you're not ready."
"i want this just as much as you do, i don't care about anybody's opinions on us because as long as i have you, i'm more than happy."
