DARKNESS

Is all I see

COLD

Is what I feel

STATIC

Is all I hear

Vince shrieked and jumped up. His eyes darted around the room, while his heart was beating fast. He sighed, and laid back down. "It was all just a dream, nothing more. Just a dream." Vince quietly said to himself, trying to calm his heart down. Vince sighed again and got up from his bed.

"I won't be able to sleep anymore, so there's no point laying in bed all day." He mumbled and left his room. He heard someone knock on the door. He went to to door and opened it, revealing a familiar happy face. "Morning Vince!" Darren beamed.

"O-oh, good morning Darren. What brings you here?" Vince asked the lizard. "Well, Jasper wanted me to get you for some reason. He said to meet him at the waterfall island." The lizard said. "Oh, okay." Vince said. A playful grin appeared on the snake's lips. "How about we race to the island?" Vince suggested.

Darren smirked. "Sure, but I'm gonna win." he said. They both lined up with determined look on their faces. "1..2.. And 3!" They both shouted, launching themselves to the nearest island. They ran and jumped from island to island, until they reached the waterfall island.

They both were out of breath and sweating. "I totally won!" Vince panted out. "No way! I won!" Darren said. "Enough you two!" An angry voice shouted. They both managed to steady their breaths again. "So, why did you want to meet us Jasper?" Vince asked.

"I wanted to introduce you two to some new comers." Jasper said with his angry voice. There were few people I've never seen before..
