In the field of flowers where there used to be nothing but flowers, now have bald spatches of many sizes for around 2 miles as evidence of the ravages of a fight. Now, the two perpetrators of making the bald spatches are laying side by side, recovering their mana and strength that had been lost from using the fordidden spells.

("Your Majesty!") one of the reconnaissance camera that was not destroyed but was blown away and almost lost it's signal as well, came falteringly.

("Didn't I told you not to call me that when I'm still holding the position of Major General, Liam.") Darius said with his eyes closed, not really not really having much energy after having a conversation with Xavius.

Liam, on the other side, was fuming with anger and a vein bulge on his forehead, breaking the calm expression he always had on his face. ("This. Is. Not. The time. To be cracking jokes, Darius!")

Xavius tilted her head to lok at the no longer invisible camera and was full of holes and dents. Although, she doesn't really know what this thing is, she still knows the communicator as there were creation of communicator before the accident. [Is that your friend, he seems to be furious.]

Darius patted her hand and said, [Don't mind him. He has those times of the month sometime.]

("Darius, just because I don't speak the old language, it doesn't mean that I don't have the means to understand what you said.") Liam growled his word from his gritted teeth.

("Calm down, Liam. You're making your subordinates scared out of their wits.")

As it is, the zoranian in the control room are trembling. The one beside Liam was constantly thanking the Major General for remembering them small fries who almost got crushed by the presure Liam released. After all, a spell master of the High Mage level pressure, is not to be kidding with.

Liam took a deep breath and took back his aura and combed the messed up hair as he let the subordinate around him to scan the condition of the Major General. The tick on hisforehead almost came back when he got the full report of the sorry condition of Darius.

("I will send two high healer to your location and take the puppet back for annihilation.") Liam almost broke his teeth as he bit the word annihilation.

Darius almost jump on his feet when he heard the words. he quickly calmed the situation at hand, or else, the old ancestor beside him probably wouldn't mind using that forbidden spell again with her temper. ("Liam, I can heal by myself. What's more, I have the legendary Xavius, the all-around mage of the 13th Council help to heal me. You see, my hands are already back to normal. The skin on my face are almost becoming as smooth as the peeled egg. We don't want any word of 'annihilation' here, do you understand?")

On the side of Liam, all activities stopped as they stayed in a stunned state.

Liam leaned his body as his hands on the control panel took all his weight, his pursed lips showed his skepticism as he asked the question that everyone in the control room has.

("Xavius, the most unlucky of the 13th member of the Council who died in an experimental failure that was not even his own, his wide and known prank towards his friends and student and his hate towards Trueton? That Xavius?")

Xavius, who heard his name being mentioned for quite a few times, lifted her head and grinned. [Is it just me or is this guy badmouthing me?]

[Oh no, that's just your imagination.] Darius quickly changed his face when he talked to the floating camera. ("Don't bring me with you when you want to off yourself, Liam. She is not a puppet but a real, veritable Xavius.")
