THE NEXT day the four teens were all in Mr. Sunn's class, all of them doing a test. A male opens the door and walks in, holding a gold envelope in his hands. "Mr. Sunn, can I borrow Pope for a minute." the male asked.
"We're in the middle of a test," Mr. Sunn told him, as he got up and went over to the man standing there.
"I'm from the Vanderhorst Foundation." the male tells Mr. Sunn.
"Mr. Heyward, It's for you." Mr. Sunn said, as he looked over at the heyward boy, making Nate, Kie and JJ all look up from their paper, and at each other.
Pope gets up from his desk, and went over to the male and Mr. Sunn, they both walked out of the class. "Thank you. Good to see you, Pope."
After a few minutes later the heyward boy returns back to his seat, holding the envelope in his hand, as he nods at his friends. "Okay, what was that?" Kiara quietly, asked him.
Pope held up the envelope, showing the wheat symbol on the back of it. "Isn't that the wheat symbol?" Nate questioned.
"Yeah," Pope said, as he nodded.
"What the f--" Nate stopped himself, as Mr. Sunn turned around to look at the blonde. "fu...fu...fudge?"

AFTER THE TEST the four headed in the library, with Pope leading the way, "Okay, is the a game of tag?" JJ spoke up, beside his brother.
"I don't know." Kie says quietly.
"Are we gonna have to beat you with your protractor? What's going on?" Nate asked, as he walked behind his girlfriend, until the librarian shushed them.
"Seriously, Pope. You're driving us insane." Kie whispered to the heyward boy, as he headed to the computer in front of him.
"Okay, so that guy was from the scholarship committee." Pope said as he turned to his friends, as Kie sat down in the chair. "Take a look at this." Pope passed Nate the envelope as he takes it. "Read it." Pope gestured.
Nate opened the envelope, and then pulling out the letter. "Say it out loud, N." Kie told her boyfriend.
Nate glanced up at his girlfriend, then his brother and Pope. "Dear Mr. Heyward, I am reaching out because I have material evidence that can exonerate John B. Routledge." he stopped as he looked over at Pope, who was pacing side to side before he looked back down at the letter. "It is of vital importance that you come and meet with me in person at my offices at 27 King Street, Charleston at 8:00 p.m. sharp tonight." he continued. "Please come alone. Regards, C. Limbrey." He finished,as he placed the letter down in front of him.
"Charleston?" JJ says, looking over at Pope.
"I know. It's like an eight-hour drive, plus the ferry. How are we gonna get there tonight?" Pope questioned.
"We'd have to leave right now." Nate said, as he crossed his arms as he looked over at Pope.
"I have a free period." Kie tells them, as she looked at the three boys.
"Material evidence? What does that even mean, material evidence?" JJ asked, looking down at the letter on the table.
"It means he can clear John B." Kie said, as she looked up at the older maybank.
"Oh, shit, then we're going to Charleston." JJ said, as he ruffled Nate's hair.
Kie sighs, "I gotta tell my mom." she says.
"Look, if we get it this time, we are not giving it to Shoupe." Nate said, as he pointed at the letter in front.
"Yeah. No duh." JJ agreed, as Kie looked up at her boyfriend with smile as she also nodded.
