She quickly shut off her phone placing it in the pocket within her black sweats and stood up as her flight was being called for boarding. After finding her seat which was towards the back off the plane, she heaved her matte pink carry-on into the overhead compartment and quickly took her seat to allow the other passengers to walk past her. Since this was a short flight, there wasn't a built in TV on the back of the seat in front of her but she had lucky managed to download a handful of episodes from the show she was currently binge watching, she turned on flight mode and began watching the show in peace. One thing to note about Maeve is that when she gets invested in something, she gets really invested which she just blames on her ADHD, as she does for every other problem in her life. This investment in the show mean't that the 4 hour flight had suddenly felt like it passed within milliseconds.

Once she had gone through all the usual security checks she walked straight through to where ollie would be waiting for her. As soon as she saw his brown curls she stretched out her arms to wrap them around his neck and bring him in for a quick hug. "How was your flight?" he asked in a calm voice, "good thank you" she smiled. "I missed you" she giggled as she felt a weird feeling in her stomach, nerves? "ollie you saw me like 5 days ago" he smiled "ohh i see! it's now a crime to miss your bestfriend" he retorted as she shook her head slowly.

During the days leading up to the race weekend, she spent most days with Ollie and his family but she couldn't shake that fuzzy feeling which rested deep in her chest, like butterflies almost? Thursday night, Maeve and Ollie were sprawled out over his double bed re-watching their movie for the 100th time. Mae was confident that she could recite every song from start to finish in the 2014 Annie movie, she and Ollie have watched it that many times. Half way through the film she began to feel sleepy and rested her head on his shoulder before she soon fell asleep. Following this Ollie started nodding off as well.
