[A/N: this is my first fanfic so be prepared for some awkward prose or formatting errors, but if you do notice anything wrong please let me know. I plan on continuing this fic, but after I've gotten better at writing I'll probably revise it a bit. Anywho I don't own any of the characters yada yada, and I hope you all enjoy.] (+ please let me know if any of you have strong feelings about how you want the stroy to go because I will definitely take any ideas into consideration)

It was 6:00 in the evening and Ayanokoji was starting to get a little bored. Normally he would have been perfectly content sitting in his room, but today for whatever reason he felt antsy. Not someone to idly sit by with a problem at hand, Ayanokoji decided to go for a walk. Taking care not to be noticed he quietly slid out of his room and went down the elevator to the first floor. He was not in the mood for another mundane conversation with one of his classmates while he felt sick. As he stepped outside the crisp Autumn air swept his hair about his face, and Ayanokoji slowly breathed it in, taking care to appreciate a precious moment of peace and quiet.

Having spent over two years on this campus he had become very familiar with its ins and outs, and wanting to get away from the queasiness that had beset him in his room he chose a rather secluded path to stroll along. He admired the red and orange leaves that were whipping around on their branches in the breeze, 'Do the other students realize just how lucky they are to be here?' he wondered. If his younger self could see where he was now, he would think it was a dream. Ayanokoji was brought out of his musings by a sudden piercing hot feeling spreading through his back and chest area.

"Shhhhhhhk"

Ayanokoji looked down and saw a long dagger sticking out from his chest. Long beads of blood started trailing down his uniform, dying his white shirt red.

"Eugh!" Ayanokoji let out a small grunt as he felt blood beginning to pool in his mouth.

Quickly spinning around as best he could, Ayanokoji looked behind with his hands raised ready to defend or attack as needed, but he was shocked at the sight before him. Absolutely nothing was there. There was a good 15 meters in every direction between him and the nearest bush or tree or any cover at all. There wasn't a sign of any life at all.

"Wha-"

Ayanokoji was cut off as he fell to his knees. He could feel himslef growing weaker. His mind was still fast at work trying to wrap itself around what possibly could have happened. The obvious answer would be that the knife had been thrown, however based on the slow speed at which the knife had been buried into his chest he could reasonably rule that out. The only other solution he could think of was that due to his nauseousness his perception of time had been skewed leading him to think that less time had passed than actually had.

Whatever the case, it was clear that his time on earth was coming to a close.

"Heh"

Despite the circumstances Ayanokoji couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. 'All that time and energy spent creating his 'masterpiece' and this is how it ends up. It's almost poetic that all his work will have amounted to nothing but failures.'

With a faint smile adorning his lips Ayanokoji finally closed his eyes and for the first time in his life stopped thinking about anything at all.

...

"Epabuhia! Tauwka seio kwa! Pahail za!"

"Ivin kav Zenith! Pahail za!"

What the hell? Where was he? Slowly opening his eyes the bright light in the room he was in blinded him. 'Did I somehow survive that?' he wondered. Surely not, but what other explanation could there be?

"Zevaiah bazalfben kifu zivaikah kwav!"

One of the same voices let out more excited sounding gibberish. 'What language is that? Definitely not anything I've ever encountered.'

As Ayanokoji's eyes adjusted to the lighting, he got his first good look at the people talking. They looked to be an attractive young European couple in an interesting old style home. Looking up at the woman currently holding him he saw a beautiful almond shaped face framed with almost glowing golden blond hair. His eyes were then drawn to her ample bust which almost obscured her angelic visage from view. There had to be some reason this woman was gazing so lovingly at him, right? Having gotten his bearings better Ayanokoji realized that no stranger would make that face at some random Japanese teenager. Even the man was looking at him weirdly. What kind of adult dude makes that face at a high school boy? If he didn't know any better, he would say that these expressions were those of loving parents looking at their child.

Ayanokoji tried to raise his hands in front of him to put some space between him and these weirdos, but as he strained his arms, he only saw two stubby little things in front of him. Ayanokoji's mind quickly raced through hundreds of different possibilities before landing on the only logical explanation.

'It would appear as though I've been reincarnated.'

[A/N: Apologies for how short that was, but it just felt like a good place to end the chapter. I plan on future chapters being a couple thousand words at least so hopefully y'all can look forward to that. Final note is that I really hope someone actually reads this because otherwise these A/N's are pretty much me talking to myself which is kinda sad tbh. Again though hope y'all are interested in this premise, and see ya!]
