Dwarka was truly a realm of enchantment, more radiant than any image could convey. Born from Krishna's divine will, it exuded a shimmering glow of ethereal purity that whispered ancient tales. The air was thick with celestial resonance, each breeze carrying the essence of the Dark Lord.
Here, the sun cast golden rays upon the ancient stones that seemed to pulse with life creating a symphony of serenity. Every corner breathed history, each moment a prayer, as if the city itself cradled the soul of eternity and the very atmosphere hummed with a spirituality that transcended time, making the heart ache with wonder.
The sea waves rose in graceful arcs, crashing against the shores as if reaching out to touch the very feet of the land. Each surge was a gentle caress, a rhythmic homage to the earth, as if the ocean itself sought to embrace Dwarka in a timeless dance of devotion. The water sparkled in the moonlight, reflecting a sacred connection between the sea and the shore.
Krisha stood on the balcony of the lounge room she shared with Tara, who had drifted off to sleep shortly after dinner. Her eyes traced the tapestry of stars that adorned the night sky, each glimmering with a whispered promise of wonder.
Everyone was exhausted after a long day of travel, the day's journey weighing heavily on their eyelids. And settling into the lounge had taken longer than expected as the space wasn't prepared when they arrived, forcing them to linger in the waiting room.
But now under the dark blanket of sky the cool night air wrapped around Krisha like a gentle embrace, and in the serenity above she found solace, the constellations shimmering like distant dreams, beckoning her to explore the infinite.
"You haven't slept" a voice pierced the stillness, pulling her from her thoughts "I could ask you the same thing, bhai" she retorted, a playful challenge in her eyes, but Rakshit only met her with an unimpressed gaze, arms crossed in gentle admonishment.
"I came for water and found you here, lost in the night---you forgot to lock the door." Her expression shifted to one of realization, an 'ohh' escaping her lips like a soft sigh.
"Something's troubling you, isn't it? You can share if you wish," he urged, concern shadowing his features. It was rare for her to linger awake at such an hour, and the weight of unspoken thoughts hung between them like a delicate thread, ready to unravel.
"Yes, but I don't know how to put it into words. It's as if I'm wrapped in homesickness, even with everyone here. I felt it back home, too. It's so strange-I've never known anything like this" she confessed, her voice trembling with raw honesty.
"Maybe it's because you've been mostly cooped up lately, not venturing out much to explore the beauty around you" Rakshit suggested, his tone soft and reassuring like a soothing balm "Don't worry, we'll be heading back home in a few days. Now go and get some rest, tomorrow is going to be a busy day."
His words enveloped her like a warm cloak, offering a flicker of comfort amidst the shadows of her unease. He had never seen her so vulnerable, and it tugged at his heart. In that moment, he silently vowed to do everything he could to bring back her light.
Krisha nodded and slipped beneath the covers whispering a soft "good night" that lingered in the air like a delicate promise and he returned the sentiment.
With a quiet resolve she closed her eyes, striving to clear her mind of worries and embrace the soothing stillness of the night and gradually, the gentle waves of slumber washed over her, cradling her in a warm embrace. Before long, she was lost in dreams woven from the vibrant colors and joyful melodies of the festivities that awaited, each moment a shimmering promise of renewal and joy.
