Freya: The robot queen

Karma sighed as she shut her apartment door, leaning against it. "Well.. That was a lot to take in" she said staring at her wall"

Just then, a little robot with wings (yes it's buggy) started knocking on karmas window. "Aaand here we go again" she said jumping out her window and sliding down the drainpipe

Karma chased after the little thing until she got to a house that had a really bad black paint job all over it and various computer parts laying in the yard, as well as cosplay costumes drying on a clothesline. Sarah and Charlie were waiting outside as thee robot flew in through an open window.

"The creature take you guys here too?" Said karma, still catching her breath. Sarah answered with a nod "well, do you know what they want?" Said karma, following up. "Do I look like I do?" Sarah said, pointing at her face.

Charlie spoke "I'm going in. You all should take your time". The girls rolled their eyes and followed him in.

They stepped into the house. There were failed experiments everywhere, little Mothlike robots buzzing into lights, and a weird substance that looked like year old soda that nobody dared to touch. Sarah spoke up "dang, looks like nobody's been here in years". Karma dodged what looked like a microwave on wheels with a motherboard taped to the side.

They entered a small little cubby that had fairy lights stringed to it. Inside was multiple monster energy cans strung all over a mattress with a Spongebob comforter on it. After everyone got done observing the room they looked forwards, and saw a 15 year old Freya, saying multiple swears while tampering with a machine.

"huh? Freya, is that you?" Said karma aloud, trying to process everything going on. 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫.

Freya turned around with her eyes twitching "finally you got here!" She said as she picked up a little tablet with a propeller on top and brought it over to her. "Well, I needed your help investigating something. This thing right here is a paranormal detector. It's been detecting inhuman activities in a casino downtown, but every time I sneak in there I don't see anything!"

Karma just stood there as sarah and Charlie ran home, not wanting to be involved in this. She spoke up "i-i guess I'll help you" "great! Be ready in a week. I need to make a brand new fake ID."

Karma sighed as she started to walk home. However a portal opened up in front of her, and she stepped in without hesitation, knowing what was going on this time.

This time when she walked in, only one chair had a person in it. And that was Misty. All the other immortals were asleep (yes it's night time)

She stared blankly at karma before talking in her solid, spine chilling voice. "... I saw what happened.. You should look for anything you believe a human wouldn't be capable of. Maybe that'll help you find her."

Karma nodded and turned around, before Misty added something on. "Before you go..." Karma turned around "... This 'Freya' could be helpful. Try to make sure she doesn't, you know, 𝙙𝙞𝙚." Karma immediately exited the portal and ran home.

(meanwhile at Freya home)

Freya sighed as buggy continued to bandage up her arms "this is the third time this week I've hurt myself Messing around with that damn machine! I wonder when it's gonna-"

Freya was cut off by a dinging sound "finally! A clue!" She said darting over to her computer. She observes the screen. It had three symbols. Purple sparkles, a 3 of spades, and an infinity symbol. "Oh, I suppose this could be helpful then.." She said as she picked up a book who's authors were slightly scratched out. It was called "guide to immortals, by f--ar- In----o and m--ty s--e-".
