Grace's POV
I walked into the school and I hear silence.
Huh, thats strange.
I looked up and I see everyones eyes looking at me. Oh no, I look bad dont I?
I never should've taken Piper's clothes. I'm not made to be in the spotlight. I ran as fast as I could to the girls bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror really just looking at myself for the first time.
The off the shoulder black top clinged to my body giving me some curves I've never noticed before. The blue ripped jean shorts were a little too short for my liking but were long enough where my butt wouldnt be on display. And the knee high black combat boots complimented off my thighs even though my skin was as white as snow.
Over all, I didn't feel like this was me. But I got to admit- I look good.
Dominique walks into the the bathroom looking puzzled.
"Gracie! Why did you just take off like that?""I felt like everyone was judging me. I know I dont have the perfect body, but I'm not just gonna stand there and take it." I was actually surprised she asked me that. She knows everything about me, she should know by now that I don't like the attention.
"Are you kidding? You look hot! And your body is perfectly fine. And they weren't judging you, they were admiring you! Stop being so paranoid Gracie. And besides, why do you care so much about what people think anyway?"
I stayed silent. She was right, I am paranoid.
"You're right Domi. Lets get to class before we're late." I said as I walked out the bathroom door.
"Now thats the Gracie I love." Dominique cheered, "Hey, don't look now, Max is totally checking you out!"
I looked over at Max Chang with disgust as he picked his nose and stuck it on a random locker.
"Ew. And why exactly should I be excited?" I questioned.
"Oh, not that Max. I'm talking about Max Black." She grinned as she nodded over to the cute, dangerous boy who was across the hallway.
"Oh please, wasn't he the one who splashed water on us this morning and drenched our clothes?" I complained.
"It was probably by accident!" Dominique insisted. "Besides his friend Zack is kinda cute."
"You're delusional." I chuckled.
"I'm not!"
"Yeah, ok." I noted as I slipped into homeroom, "While you slip away to boy land, I'll be here in the real world getting my studies in."
"Boring." Dominique whined, "All we've been doing for the past 15 years is 'getting our studies in' we should do one fun thing in our lives for once"
"I can be fun!" I scoffed, " I can be very fun!"
"When?" Asked Dominique, "When have you ever broken one of your precious mothers rules and did something outrageous?"
"Well - I - There was the one time I - wait, no," I sighed, "But we go to the mall on Saturday afternoons."
"Everyone goes go tbe mall Gracie, but anything that you normally would've never done?"
"Obviously no."
"Thats my point! We are teenagers. We are sophomores and its because of our parents, that we cant be independent and make our own decisions! THE TIME IS NOW!" Dominique shouts as she stands on top of her desk.
"Ms. Rodriguez get down from there this instant!" yells our teacher Mr.Brown.
Dominique quickly hops off the desk and sits back down next to me ignoring the weird stares from everyone.
"See? Outrageous." She smirked.
