Sid and Shubham didn't go on a coffee date, but they became close friends. Shubham would wait at the lakeside tea shop for Sid, who would pick him up from tuition every Tuesday.

They started going on long drives, chatting for hours, and even enjoying ice cream in the chilly weather. Slowly, Shubham realized he liked Sid, but he didn't know what to call this feeling, as he had never felt this way before. His friends started teasing them, and whenever Sid came to pick Shubham, they playfully called him "Jiju."

Despite their growing closeness, a wall stood between them, Shubham's strict parents. They didn't allow him to go out after 10 pm, making it difficult for Shubham to attend the Christmas party Sid had invited him to. He was afraid that he wouldn't be able to be with Sid that night

So, Shubham suggested he would lie and go with Sid, but Sid didn't like the idea. He decided to seek permission from Shubham's parents himself. Upon hearing this, Shubham was anxious.

Before the Christmas party night, Sid went to Shubham's house to ask for permission. Shubham tried to eavesdrop from another room, and his elder sister teased him about his friend visiting.

Sid assured Shubham's dad that he would take good care of him and ensure he returned home before midnight. Initially, Shubham's dad was angry, but after Shubham's mom intervened, he agreed and called Shubham to his room.

Shubham thought he was in trouble, so he tried to avoid it and said, "Sorry, Papa, I won't go; you can look...". Before he could complete his sentence, his dad smiled and handed him money for the party shopping.

Shubham understood and glanced at Sid, who was still looking at him with a sweet smile.

Finally, Shubham achieved his goal of attending the Christmas party with Sid, and he was on cloud nine. It was a night filled with joy and excitement as Shubham got to meet Sid's friends and other cadets. Among them was Sameer, a talented dancer who captivated everyone on the dance floor.

Sameer and Sid were childhood friends, but they were complete opposites in nature. While Sid was disciplined and followed rules strictly, Sameer was carefree and lived life on his own terms. He never took anything seriously, including his relationships, which rarely lasted more than a month.

Sid believed in true love and had deep feelings for Shubham, but Sameer was not interested in love and only sought casual flings. When Sameer noticed Sid talking to Shubham about him, he approached Shubham with a mischievous smile, teasing him about being lost in Shubham's eyes.

After a while, Sid went to get water, and Sameer asked Shubham if Sid had shared any secrets about him. Shubham smiled and said that Sid had mentioned how Sameer does whatever he feels like and changes girlfriends as often as people change clothes.

Sameer laughed at this and remarked how Sid was talking so much about him. As they continued their conversation, Sameer noticed that Sid had returned and started teasing him about being close to Shubham. They bantered playfully, and Sid felt a bit shy as he had never been this close to Shubham before. Shubham also enjoyed the moment, but his eyes seemed to be searching for something else.

As the night went on, Sid finally told Shubham that it was time to leave. Shubham wanted to stay a little longer, but Sid insisted on leaving. This made Shubham slightly upset, but when they reached home and got out of the car, he hugged Sid tightly, trying to hide his feelings.

A few more days passed, and finally, the day they never wanted to come arrived. Sid's training had come to an end, and he received his posting to the enchanting land of Ladakh. Shubham's heart soared with joy at Sid's achievement, but a pang of sadness crept in as he realized that Sid would soon depart.

Shubham yearned to meet Sid before he embarked on this new journey, but fate seemed to play a trick on them. Circumstances conspired to keep them apart, and Sid had to leave without a chance for a proper farewell. Deep down, Shubham's heart fluttered with hope and apprehension, as if unsure of how this separation would affect their bond.

In the days leading up to Sid's departure, Shubham found himself missing Sid's laughter, his warm embrace, and the way Sid's eyes sparkled when they looked at each other. He couldn't shake off the feeling of longing, and with every passing moment, his heartache grew.

Shubham felt hurt, he was naive, getting affected by small things. He tried to reach out to Sid multiple times, calling him over 40 times, and even reaching out to his cadet friends to understand the situation. After much effort, Shubham managed to convince Sid to talk to him. In his innocence, Shubham expressed his emotions, not holding back how much he cared and also angry

Sid: Hey, are you still upset?

Shubham: Yes, quite a lot. Do you have any idea how much I have missed in this past day and you didn't even bother to say a final goodbye to me and then not picking up my phone calls do I even matter to you?

Sid: I'm really sorry, baby. I promise I'll be more attentive from now on. It's just that Sameer needed my help urgently, so I had to go to him and couldn't come to you.

Shubham: Hearing this, Shubham got a bit angry and said, "Oh, so you have time for your friend but not for me? Fine, bye."

Shubham's emotions were a whirlwind of relief, love, and a lingering hint of frustration. He struggled to find the right words to convey his feelings, but he was also afraid of sounding too needy. He wanted Sid to know how much he mattered, how much he wanted him to be there.

And then, he hung up the phone. Sid started to worry, not wanting Shubham to be upset with him. He didn't want Shubham to see him in a negative light. So, he called his friend Sameer to know what happened and what he should do to resolve the situation.

Sid sought his friend's help to sort things out with Shubham, but deep down, he knew he should have taken responsibility for solving the problem in their relationship, rather than seeking external help. After all, resolving issues in a relationship requires honest communication and understanding, not just involving others to fix things temporarily.
