[The Encounter with a Demon]

VARUNA'S POV.

After I had got discharged from the hospital, I decided to walk around the city, it's been a while during I had that coma, so maybe everything changed!

"But this dang head bandage.. man I'm not going to get used to this.." I was mumbling to myself before I bumped into someone.

"Oh!- Sorry-" I looked up at them, noticing they looked tall, but they had a familiar face... I can't put my finger on who though..

"... Varuna? Is that you??"

Wh-how does he know my name? That's strange. The man is kind of tall, probably around 7'11, and he looks like he has  demon horns, a cape, 3 gems on him and he has boots.

OH I REMEMBER HIM NOW! That's my friendly therapist, Celeste! And knowing him, he's not even a bad person outside of what he does!

"Yep, that's me! I'm back-"

Celeste did seem worried.. he started walking closer to me and crouched down to see my head.

CELESTE POV.

I was staring at Varuna's head, I looked worried and confused.. I've never seen that before.

"Varuna, what happened to your head? And where have you been?!" I asked him.

Varuna looked like he hesitated just to say what happened to him, I know Immediately that means something terrible happened.

"I-uhh.. uhhhhh.." He was stuttering with the words. He's too nervous to speak, but I placed a hand on his shoulder. "No need to be afraid with me. Remember I'm your friend and therapist by the end of the day."

Varuna seemed calm now, so he can probably talk, I think. He's still probably going to stutter.

"I... I almost died from blunt force trauma t-to the head, but I came back because I was taken to the hospital..".

Knew it.

"YOU WHAT!? WHO TRIED TO KILL YOU!?" I was yelling at him, it's not like I'm angry at Varuna, more like I was shocked and worried about who did that to him.

"I-it's.. I don't know, listen. Let's not talk about this anymore, I'm back now, so it's all okay." Varuna said, calming himself down.

That's a first, I'm the main one that tries to calm him down, now I guess it's vice versa.

"Alright, alright fine. I'm just worried about you. Do you not know how long you've been gone?" I asked him.

"Yeah I know.. but I'll make up for my time that I was gone for, I promise." He told me, I didn't kind of trust it, but he does seem like he was honest.

"Alright then.. Well ima have to go now, I have another appointment I have to deal with, after I'm done and you're free, you want to go to a cafe?"

"Yeah, sure! That sounds nice." Varuna had a smile on his face, he's still the same one from years ago.

"Alright good, bye Varuna, don't forget about the cafe!" I said as I walked off, more like speed walking, I don't want to be late.

"Bye bye, Celeste!" Varuna said as he walked off to somewhere else on his day. It's good to finally see him once again. Hopefully, he stays safe this time.. knowing him, he's very dangerous of what he does. He's very risky, but I'll see him again.
