George gasped at the man's request he turned to his father, who looked like he would actually take the stranger's request, "Dad- you seriously can't be thinking -" "Quiet George." The king spat at George.

George had a panicked look as his gaze shifted from his father to the man, impatiently waiting for an answer. He hoped his father would disagree with the absurd idea.

"Sure."

George's entire world shifted. He was breathless at that very moment. "Wha-...Dad you're joking, right?" A cold hand was pressed against his shoulder, another at his waist. The prince stood still as his parents and other royals stared at him, bewildered.

"Then we'll be taking our leave."

George shivered as his vision became pitch black, an endless void wrapped around him and the man he was pressed against. The darkness faded, and they were now at a modest looking cabin. George snapped back into reality, finally fully noticing his situation.

The brunette squirmed against the man's tight grip; stumbling forward once he escaped and turned around to face the stranger, the prince shuddered unsure of what to say. "Calm down- I ain't gonna hurt you, princess." The man shot a wink at the shorter.

George watched baffled as the man turned around to remove the cloak that swayed behind him, "Princess?" The prince suddenly gasped, finally realizing his situation. The stranger chuckled, "My name's Dream, by the way." George scrunched his face, unable to come up with a response. The ma- Dream held a soft tone in his voice, nothing like earlier.

"So...what are you planning to do with me?" Dream laughed, shoulders shaking in rhythm. "You seriously don't know?" George stared, confused, "We're soulmates?" Dream spoke as if it was the most obvious thing to exist.

"What...?"

"Oh, come on, don't you feel a pull towards me?" Dream smirked at him.

George let out a small gasp. Soulmates!? Was this guy serious? This can't be happening...But I mean- was that what the tingling was?

"Y-You mean the tingling?" George stuttered as he cringe as his own words. "Tingling?" Dream laughed- no- wheezed at the prince's pronunciation, "I'm sorry- but—wheeze—who describes it as tingling?" Dream straightened his posture, "It's more like buzzing if you ask me." The blond shrugged as his laughter died down.

George stared with unease as he shifted in his spot; eyes gazing around at the cabin, they stood at what seemed to be the living room, a weirdly sweet and calming aroma filled the room A high-pitched mewl caught his attention as a small tabby cat came prancing around the corner, running towards Dream.

"Aww, hey, Patchy~" The blond gushed as he kneeled down to pet the feline, "You named it Patchy?" George asked the taller. Once again, the blond let out a short wheeze before answering. "Nope, it's just a nickname I gave her."

The brunette stared in awe as the blond showered the cat with pets and hugs until she eventually got tired and walked away, "Looks like she got enough socializing." Dream chuckled as he stood up.

George started warming up to the man, "I guess he isn't so bad." The brunette cracked a smile. "So uhm- do you—do you have any allergies?" The blond was almost nervous to ask. It definitely peaked George's interest.

"Oh, uhm, no, no, I don't think I have any." Dream nodded as he gestured for George to come closer, "I can show you my room...You can sleep there while I uh—I can sleep in the couch or—or my sister's room..."

George weakly nodded, following the blond across the hallway. They passed upon a door; it was slightly cracked open, the brunette stared for a second. A small wooden dollhouse could be seen with wooden carved toys scattered on top of the green carpet. George turned to look at the next room, which Dream gestured to. It was fairly small in size, definitely smaller than George's former room, yet it felt. Comforting.

George stepped into the room, first being met with a rickety bed and a small nightstand beside it. Below the bed was another carpet similar to the green carpet in the other room. George craned his neck to stare on the other side of the room, seeing a desk and closet next to each other.

"I'll just call you when I finished preparing the food..." George tiredly nodded.

Dream returned the gesture and left the brunette alone in the dimly lit room. George lifted his wrist once more so it was fully presented to himself. "Prime, I never thought I'd meet my soulmate..." "Granted he's rather odd, but still...Father always said I'd just marry another powerful lady so our family name can live on..."

The brunette cracked a small grin.

"I can't even believe this..."

"This is going to be my life now, I doubt I'm even gonna be let back into the castle after that public disaster."

George groaned as he fell back onto the other man's bed, "Welp, I'm gonna have to deal with this. I just hope this guy has extra clothes or something cause I definitely can't wear this stupid outfit."

George was sitting on the bed simply still comprehending everything that just happened until he heard soft footsteps. If the house wasn't deathly quiet, George probably wouldn't even hear it.

"I made pork, here." Dream hands a wooden plate over to the brunette with pork laying on top of it. "Probably not better than whatever they fed you at that castle, but at least you won't starve." The shorter accepted the plate, staring at the fork that was set on top of the meat. "Thanks..."

"No problem, princess." George rolled his eyes and stabbed his pork with the fork and clamped his mouth on the pork. While chewing the pork, the blond spoke. "The water is over by the table. Just put your dishes in the sink. I'm gonna be busy..."

George nodded whilst watching the man walk away. Soon enough, he finished his meal and got up to get some water. Passing by the other room he heard a soft thump; peeking in the crack left open in the door he saw none other than Dream holding one of the dolls as his frame loomed over the dollhouse, his hand caressed the doll.

Dream had a neutral face as he stared down on the doll. George decided to leave him, not wanting to get caught; he eventually got to the sink and as per request placed his plate inside the sink and grabbing the cup on the table to pour himself some water.

"Dream mentioned he had a sister, didn't he?"

George lifted the glass to take a sip.

"Where could she be."
