War changes people. There features who were once admired by, loved by, became a missing part of their body and soul, the further they fight. Fear and terror enters their body as they take every step towards victory, which seem so far, far away... however, what is really a victory? Taking over another country or defending it? Whatever the reason people speak of, doesn't it all seems the same? The peace was never an option, but a crown who seeks for a pure heart to devour it.
Therefore, soldiers whose king ordered them to come back home, listen and made a move, packing their things and equipment, then left. Sky riders kept their eyes on them to make sure they arrive safe and sound, which weirdly was a pure success. Weirdly said because werepeople never, in those two years of fighting against Sa'adria let their soldiers leave the Khan forest alive. Whatever those beasts were ordered to stay put or had a change of plan didn't matter to soldiers, since they arrived, as many as they could, home.
-„ Hey, wake up."- said a whispering voice as it tried to wake up Rahim who was leaning on him, sleeping like a corpse and drooling like a waterfall.
Naturally, Rahim didn't woke up. Probably because he's a heavy sleeper or he was just used to sleeping whenever as soon as his eyes close. Two years made something of him. However, the whispering voice didn't stop, or rather Kai's voice became louder and louder just to wake up his friend, who was drooling and snoring behind him as he was trying to ride his horse, in peace.
-„Leave me alone grandma...snore..."- whispered Rahim in his sleep, trying to get comfortable as if Kaiser's back was his personal bed.
-„This ain't your grandma mate! Now wake up, before I lose my temper!"- Kai yelled as he elbowed Rahim in the stomach, making him flinch in confusion as he woke up.
-„Damn man,...Why so aggressive? I was about to hit it, you know what I'm saying fool..."- replied Rahim, with his half-asleep voice while rubbing his eyes and yawning.
-„Bless the person whose gonna sleep with you, again. At night you're going to be as rough as you want, but in the morning...sheeesh man."- Kaiser added.
-„What's that suppose to mean, fool? You didn't like the way I cared for you at night? Ungrateful hoe."- as he said that, they both glanced at each other, looking like they were about to kill each other, but they just burst out laughing and continued to talk and joke around as they reached the Sa'adria's gate.
-„Home sweet home, isn't it?"- yelled Rahim as the gate started to open, leaving Kaiser speechless and a change of mood.
Thus as the gate opened, all the Sa'adria's citizens gathered around them, cheering and clapping, happy to see their brave soldiers coming back after two years of fighting for their country and freedom. Fathers, husbands, sons or nephews, came back to their families, even if it's just their clothes, they came back home. Soldiers made their way to the palace and the citizens followed them, but not all the way, since it is forbidden for a mere citizen to step foot into a place such as the palace.
However, if the family has a golden card they get a pass. The golden card is only given to the families whose partner or child, was given an order to go out there to fight others or save others. Although, only one or two people can get through the gate with a golden card, not a whole family, to see their partner or children.
Reaching the destination, the stables, where Kaiser and Rahim can finally let Buddy rest, as he started to take off her saddle and everything else he noticed somebody familiar in the distance where many mothers and wifes waited for their man to come back. He proceed to then throw the saddle at Rahim, making him confused and frustruated to why he did it, then he realized Kaiser was gone. He has already found a person who longed to see him alive, his mother.
