"Not even a greeting? You're as rude as the last time I saw you."

After the new executive arrived, the celebration began. Now everyone either left or was passed out on the lounge.

I didn't drink much that night considering I was too consumed with my own raging thoughts. This woman moved around like she had owned the place and it everyone basically acted like dogs around her.

'Heck Sanzu even put down his crack while talking to her'

When the night was over, I walk out to the balcony of the VIP lounge and tried to cool my head. She clearly knew she what she was doing.

"You're not worthy of my greeting." I deadpan, not even sparing the woman a glance as she leaned on the glass railings.

"Yeah? I was worthy enough to be an executive though." She remarked.

"Doesn't make you worthy of my time, woman."

"You're one awfully short-tempered man."

"You're just annoying."

I could see how her lips frowned and how her brows furrowed. She had her arms crossed as she looked at me with pure annoyance.

"Aw. You're just saying that because I knocked you out, aren't you? How petty."

"Shut it. What's this stunt you're pulling, huh? Becoming an executive just so I can't kill you? That's pathetic." I was clearly getting to her, seeing as how her browns furrowed further after what I said.

"Well I happen to have for contributions to Bonten, unlike you. You're just following your brother around." Well that struck a nerve.

While I do admit that I was only there because of my brother, I hate being thought of as a pet who followed him around. Almost all my life I've been living in his shadow and I usually didn't even have my own name when I'm with him.

"Are you that eager to be pushed off the balcony right now?" I raise a brow at her.

"You always in a pissy mood, angelface?" She chuckled, throwing her head back a little.

'angelface?'

I throw her a disgusted expression from the nickname she gave me. The cringe literally spread all over my body the moment she called me that.

"Don't call me that ever again, woman." I sneer.

I could hear her mocking laugh ring in my ears. A sigh escaped my lips as I lean onto the railing, elbows resting on it as I look down on the busy Roppongi streets a couple of feet below me.

"You better not do anything funny while you're in Bonten. We don't tolerate bullshit from anyone." I threatened her.

"Yeah yeah, business is business after all. Don't let that grudge get in the way." She steadied herself, getting ready to leave.

"I'll call it a night, got some other stuff to do."

"I didn't ask." I deadpan.

"I know." She chuckled, walking back into the building and went back to her place I guess. I don't know, I didn't care much anyway.

She was odd.

I've said that multiple times, sure. But this was different.

As someone who's superior in the streets of Japan, I was usually unbothered by all of this. Every single one of the people around were basically just ants to me.

Setting aside my own personal grudge against her, I knew she was bad news.

There wasn't proof, there weren't any red flags so far. But never doubt the intuition of Rindou Haitani.

My goal to find dirt on the woman and get rid of her is now etched into my brain. It had become something I would strive for in the long run no matter how long it took.

She was bad for Bonten, for the whole organization.

And my mind was set on proving it.
