1:00 pm:

Jiwon's POV:

As I scrubbed the dishes in the sink I heard commotion outside the kitchen.

"What's happening?" I asked the chef.

"Some famous people are here," he said.

"Ohh okay," I said while drying my hands with a cloth.

Just then another worker rushes in.

"There is a VIP here! Here! Quickly make their food," he said while shoving a piece of paper to the chef.

"What's the rush, Kai?" I asked as I leaned against the counter.

"I'm just stressed," Kai said as he walked over to me.

"Don't be! We have VIPs come here all the time," I said.

"But we are short-staffed today,"

"Yea," I said.

A while later our boss came into the kitchen.

"Are you guys finished with the VIP's food?" he asked.

"Yea," the chef said.

"Great! Now Jiwon, go give the food and handle the counter out front!" boss said while pointing at me.

"Me? Why?" I said.

"Aren't you done washing the dishes? Your empty-handed,"

"This is a five-star restaurant! Why can't you hire more people!" I said.

"Do you want to lose your job or not?" he said.

"Okay!" I said as I snatched the plate out of the chef's hand and stormed off.

As I opened the door I realized I forgot to ask which table do I go to.

I scanned the eretsuatnt to see two men in designer clothes sitting at a table.

That must be the VIP.

I walked over to the two and said, "Here is your food,"

"Took you long enough!" the older man said as I placed the food on the table.

"You kids don't know how to do your job right nowadays!" he complained.

I ignored the man and looked over to the other guy who was trying to hold in his laughter.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"What?" he asked as he put his head up showing his surreal face.

"Nothing," I said before walking away with the empty tray.

I put the tray in the kitchen and went over to the front counter.

"This is so boring," I mumbled to myself.

"Boring huh?" I heard someone say.

I turn to see the same guy again.

"Shut up," I said annoyed.

"What's your name?" he asked.

"Why you wanna know?"

"I just wanna," he said.

"It's Jeon Jiwon,"

"Lee Seojun,"

"I didn't ask," I said.

"Why did you come here?" I asked.

"What?"

"Why did you come here after you laughed at your dad scolding me?" I asked.

"I didn't laugh at you," Seojun said

"You were!"

"I'm surprised a pretty girl like you works at a place like here," he said.

"What is that supposed to mean? And you can't win me by your looks and charms okay so just turn around and leave,"

"Wasnt planning to,"

"Totally," I said scoffing.

"Are you single?" he asked.

"See!"

"Look I don't know you okay? And I'm also glad because you seem so full of yourself." I said while crossing my arms.

"Just give me a chance," he said.

"So you are hitting on me," I said sighing before walking into the kitchen where I could get some peace and quiet.
