Chapter 3: Confusion

The next month was full of track practice. I now have a nasty cut on my lip and nose because of a punch threw by Joey Slater. Another one of my admirers. That one bled for a while. But, alternating practice between throwing and long distance running, Keon's sidekick followed me around. Not obsessively, but whenever I went to long distance practice, he kept on staring at me and ran just a little bit behind me. Lucky me he doesn't do throwing, or I would've lost my mind. But I always saw him talking to Keon, and sometimes I caught my name in the conversation. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON!!!!!!! It was really annoying.

So by then we had started our track meets, (which I ROCKED, btw) and school and work had gotten a little bit rigorous. Especially math.  Yeah, the math Honors system is not easy. Nor is Chemistry science, though....

So anyways, it was March and almost the end of school. Hallelujah,  I could sing!!!! So track meets and practice, schoolwork, eat, sleep, REPEAT!
