The New Beginnings

Prologue (redo)

Hi, my name is Fiona Gallagher. I am 24 years old and was born on February 24th, 1983.

And me again,

I consider myself headstrong. Most of the time I am pretty sure of myself in most situations, but i have a wild streak.. I've been in a difficult position of being the oldest out of us 7 Gallaghers. I took most of the responsibility which falls on my shoulders. I still do but their older, more responsible of themselves. I think we all are responsible now.

Matter of fact, Philip is about to graduate college, Ian is helping some teens at some youth center and he's soon turning a old church into a homeless shelter.. Carls is training at a military school and Debbie is trying life as a working single mom and Liam is in a new school.

So, I guess we've all moved on, happy.

Ive found a successful landlord, and now I own patsys pies and a apartment building that I also live in with my girlfriend, Brooklyn Anderson.

And her once more,

She was born on October 10th, 1983.

Brooklyn has come from Denver Colorado, She moved here to Southside Chicago after her father died from a car crash. Before, her parents divorced and she stayed with her father. Sad to say, Keith turned out to be abusive and a drunk soon after she stayed. Through all the years of the divorce her dad would take it all out on her.

But through all that, she's a girlfriend I would never imagine having. She is loyal and very affectionate when it comes to things.

When I was back at home, with my family, she'd always come over to take care of me and my siblings. I've never met someone like her before.

I think I can say we've come so far.

And so has our friends, Tommy, Rue, Jackie and Veronica.

Tommy lives close by our apartment building , he studies for animals and creatures. He's an amazing person.

Tommy is my cousin, almost like a brother. We have been through our ups and downs. I wonder how he's doing. But, he plays in a band with Jackie and Brooklyn. They are making it so far.

Rue and Jackie live in the same apartment building as we do.

I am so happy for them, they are doing so well together.

Rue and Jackie soon got together last year after they decided that they are the ones for each other. I get it, after all these years we all knew. You could just see that they were perfect for each other. Rue tells me about them so much, I love it.

Rue, she's my best friend. I don't know what I could do without her. She's such a wonderful person to be around. And she's incredibly beautiful. She has long and silky brown and blonde hair, almost down to her hips. Her and her family lived down the road from mine.

Rue is also Mexican, which she is an incredible dancer. I've seen her out dancing with her family and cousins, and they are amazing people to be around with.

Now, Rue is a designer. She's absolutely wonderful at it. She actually own her own business full of clothes you can shop at it town.

Rue was born on December 23rd, 1983. She is also, 24.

Her girlfriend, Jackie. She was born on November 16th, 1983.

Jackie is a curly head ginger with shoulder length hair, almost like Brooklyn. She's more on the masculine side. She is also a wonderful person.
Jackie also lived close by Rue, she really didn't have a fun family. She was one out of the two children between her mom and dad. Ryler, her bigger brother use to drink and smoke so she never got to talk to him. So, Jackie use to just sit in her room and draw and read books, her parents considered her different.

She now works as a painter and sells them at Rue's business.

I've met Jackie's parents before but they always just seemed.. strict.

Veronica has gone over there a couple times to hangout with Jackie, she said the same.

Veronica was born on July 6th, 1984. It's crazy to say that Veronica is a year older than all of us. I don't see much of a difference.

Veronica is a very responsible person, she knows what's wrong and right and she'll tell you whatever you need to hear.

V is a stunning African woman. Her family lived further away but that never stopped us. When I always went over there, her mother would talk about African Americans and how Veronica had to study about her culture.

Veronica was my first ever best friend, we hung out every minute we could take. Now, she's a mom of her twin daughters working at a bar she own with her husband Kev.
