Ch. 1 New To the Library

Shiori was once again alone in the library reading another book. When something caught her attention. It was someone she has yet to meet. Shiori at first didn't think much of it, just a new girl coming to her precious library. But after a few weeks, the girl continued coming and always catching her attention.

'What about her that made her seem so special?' Shiori would ask herself this same question from time to time. Was it because of her silky long black hair? Or was it simply her soft smile whenever she read a book that she enjoyed? Shiori could never find the answers to these questions, but what she came to learn by passer byers. Was that her name was Ina.

With more time passing by Shiori began to learn more about her. She enjoyed art and mystery books, as well as the occasional manga. Even the little quirks that Ina would do while reading. Like how she would tuck her hair back when an intense moment was about to happen while reading. Or how she would sneek snacks from her bag when she thought that no one was looking.

Shiori couldn't help but find them cute. Slowly Shiori grew more curious about this new attraction towards Ina. Until one day she couldn't help but to approach her. Wanting to express her curiosity towards this girl, Shiori carefully took strands of Ina's hair and gently pulled them to her face. Simply wanting to know what kind of scent Ina had.

Shiori smiles as she then gassed down at Ina. "What a gentle scent, do you mind if I ask you what kind of products you like to use?"

Ina's face turns red embarrassed by the sudden presence of the Archiver. She noticed Shiori when she first arrived at the library. Her cool beauty was hard to miss whenever she sat alone reading by herself. Nervously Ina looks away, worried that Shiori might have noticed that she was staring at her. "...I-I don't use a-anything special. Just, just everyday products."

'Cute...' Shiori said to herself as she watches Ina become nervous. This new and exciting feeling, she knew that she could never find in a book. Wanting to tease Ina more Shiori sat down onto the table as she kept her eyes on Ina.

"Really, but you have such calming scent. I couldn't help but be attracted to it." Shiori smiled as she rested her head on her knee gazing at Ina fondly, no wanting to look away. Ina couldn't believe the moment that was happening, was Shiori really attracted to her? Ina couldn't control the excitement in her heart as she tries to distract herself with her book, but it proved to fail as Shiori continues to talk to Ina.

"Oh I've read this one before, its a classic. Are you enjoying it so far? I don't normally read romance stories, but this one was one I enjoyed the most. How far have you gotten?" Shiori tires to hide her excitement behind her long sleeve as she waits for Ina's response.

"I-I'm at the part where the romantic interest was about leave on her far away trip, and the main protagonist is in pursuit of trying to stop her. So far I'm also enjoying it. I enjoy how open the two are with each other during the small moments they share. Even though when they first meet with one glance from across the room they fell in love with each other." Ina couldn't help but feel a conversation with the main protagonist. She to knew at first sight that she fell for Shiori's beauty.

Looking back at Shiori, Ina smiles pure joy in knowing that her crush was also looking back at her. Shiori couldn't help but blush as she saw the passion in Ina's eyes. She then became awkward of the sudden tone shifting towards her. Shiori could feel her heart tremble with nerves.

"I-I agree, the dynamic between the two female lovers was both fun and exciting to learn how they progressed. But to bad that you haven't gotten to my favorite part yet." Shiori recomposed herself as she leans back with a friendly smile as she thinks back to her favorite part of the story. The part where the two leads shared their first kiss with each other, only to then wonder what it might feel like to kiss Ina. How soft might she feel?

Ina went back to her book, wanting to read more to find out what her crush's favorite part in the story might be. "Then I should hurry up and finish reading then." Ina smiles almost teasing Shiori of stopping their conversation. Shiori started to panic a little, not wanting to stop talking with Ina. But she also wanted her to finish her book.

"T-Then how about m-meeting up for some tea later when you are finished reading? W-We could even talk more about the book, a-and I can recommend some others if you are interested." Shiori cursed herself for stuttering, she wanted to keep up her cool persona. But in front of Ina she could barely keep herself from breaking down with affection.

Ina smiles happy to hear that Shiori wanted to hang out with each other. "That would be great. I know a fun café with other books and comfy seats. Would next Saturday be a good time for you? I should be finished reading by then." Shiori's eyes became soft as she leans forward, happy to go on a reading date with her new attraction.

"I would love to."
