Mexico military training base, Mexico. 0600hours.
After they'd had enough of each other's presence they left, she mumbled a quick thank you and he grunted in response, walking back to their rooms and finding they were directly opposite from each other. And as they closed their doors they could hear locks from both sides, they were more similar than she had even realised.
She had sat for the past few hours cleaning each gun and knife she used meticulously, like any speck of dirt would ruin it, but still her mind wandered back to how he had seen her skin. How his cold hands tended to her wounds and how much gentler his voice had sounded when he asked about her wounds, but she shook it off. It was his job to make sure I was fit for a mission as it was mine with him, both equals and in refusal to admit it. Finally cutting through the silence of the morning were heavy combat boots on the floor, soldiers waking up and moving to the mess hall, the sound of chatter as they passed through the nearby halls.
During the time awake the woman had showered again and changed into her black combat trousers and an extremely tight fitted shirt, so tight it hugged each and every muscle and if you looked close enough you could see the lace outline of her bra. Her pants tight enough that the muscle of her thighs made it so every time she sat down you could see just how big they were, the holsters strapped to them constrained and belt wrapped around her wide hips. Applying ointment to her knuckles she heard a knock at the door, eyebrows furrowing in confusion as she walked to it.
Taking time to unlock it and then opening it, seeing the group of her task force surrounding the area. Soap was front and centre with a huge smile on his face, looking the same as he did before you had your mission, like he didn't see you any differently. She could see how Gaz nudged his elbow into her and how Alejandro stared at you with something unintelligible in his eyes. "Come join us for brekkie ay?" This offer stunned her, not once in her life had she ever been asked to join anyone for anything, it took a moment to answer and an expecting smile from Gaz and Soap for you to slowly nod your head. "Yeah, sure." You mumbled tepping out of the room you were only inches apart from the Mohawk headed Scotsman, closing your door and looking at him.
She managed slipped out to the side and walked ahead of the group, Ghost had managed to slip out of his door silently and stand at the back of the group, and each pair of their eyes had watched as her hips swayed just slightly as she walked. How the pair of trousers sat nearly where her wide hips were, if it weren't for her turning around and whistling like calling for a dog to come back to her they would've continued staring. Quickly walking Into the mess hall to be greeted by a hundred pairs of eyes looking at her and the group of men at her heel, instead of bothering she strode through the hall towards an empty table and sat down. Leaning her arms on the table as the group of men grabbed their food and sat with her, she'd never had people sit next to her.
"Are you not gonna eat? You need to get your strength up for training today" Price asked, sipping on the steaming cup of coffee in his hand, she could tell it wasn't often they sat in mess halls anymore. Reaper shook her head and leaned back in the seat, she wasn't talkative at the best of times but since last night she felt strange. And she was sat next to the cause of it all. The two men sat either side of her, Soap and Ghost were manspreading like no tomorrow. Instead of making herself smaller she did as they did, spreading her legs and humming as Soap realised how wide his legs had been. Ghost however, glared holes through her, she turned to look at him and tilted her head as if to ask what she'd done wrong. Some other members of the KorTac had joined, someone called König and a man called Keegan with a balaclava mask eerily similar to Ghosts, if not for their eyes she would've thought they were the same person.
As if her day couldn't get any worse the voice of someone she despised more than Shepard spoke up behind her, her eye twitching under the mask and hands clenching so hard that she was sure without gloves everyone would see the whites of them. It was if the people around her could sense the shift, looking between them uncomfortably as he chose to sit directly across from her, the most irritating smile on his more irritatingly annoying face. "Reaperr, long time no talk huh?" She felt eyes on her, questioning eyes, curious eyes as to how someone like her could know someone like him. "Graves." The woman hissed through gritted teeth, standing up with the rest of them as he followed along to the training hall,
Soap interjected the conversation, clearly sensing tension in the air. "Reaper, how about we do two against one aye? Maybe even three against one? If you're as good as you say they are" She could tell he meant no disrespect by his pushy comment, it was friendly banter, but she had never had friends. Without saying anything she nodded, walking toward the box lined with tape, tapping her fingers along the side of her thigh. It was only seconds later when Gaz threw a punch in your direction, the movement of her hands stopping all together as she dodged it. Ducking and diving between punches that went on for minutes between the three of them before the Scot managed to grab her in a headlock from behind, Gaz was in front of her and this presented an opportunity. "I thought you'd put more of a fight up" Mumbled Gaz, almost disappointed. She could feel the proud smile of Soap behind her and he was cocky, his arms looser around her neck as she stopped moving around.
Pulling herself down onto her knees as forcefully as she could, managing to pull Soap off balance, rolling forward as he fell on top of Gaz. "That enough of a fight pretty boy?" She hummed in response looking at them piled atop of each other on the floor behind the tape. "Yeah that was good lassie" Soap grunted whilst standing up from the floor, shooting a charming smile her way. Standing up she looked around, waiting for the next person to challenge her. Keegan, König and Grave had challenged her, stepping up. Grave managed to throw a punch to her mask forceful enough to start her nose bleeding, this infuriated her because she already hated Graves with a passion. It was a while spent of missed punches, blocking, defending and returning punches. The size of König made it hard for him to duck anything though he could move swiftly, Keegan was powerful with his jabs and had managed to hit her once or twice, Graves was good with both enough that it pissed her off.
While sparring with Graves she was caught off guard and both arms were now held still by the two masked men, Graves smiling in front of her as if they had won. "It seems we have won" The tall Austrian nodded. Not quite. Cheering and claps were coming from the sidelines, from soldiers who had come to watch and from the group. Making sure to stay in the lines, Reaper walked backwards just enough to get momentum. "You can't get away like that" Keegan hummed gently, ignoring his comment she pulled herself forward. Placing one foot on Graves thigh forcefully, the other one on his shoulder as if using stepping stones. And then kicking his jaw back enough to injure him but not seriously and push him out of the lines, using the momentum she was able to pull herself behind both men. Their balance wobbling as she yanked her arms free, turning to them and kicking them out of bounds. "Guess I got away didn't I?"
