"I'll make a deal with you Kirstie, get rid of the baby and I'll leave right now."

Jeremy's lips curled into a snarl. "No." I said calmly, ready for a fight. "I'll say it 1 more time, I am not asking you, get rid of the baby." He balls up his fists. "No, I am not getting rid of her. I already lost one child." Tears crept into my eyes as I remember not being able to find my son. "That's right bitch, cry me a river." His voice stabbed through my head. I had to get out of here. I stood up. He smacked me with the back of his hand. "You aren't going anywhere." He pulled me over to the wall and tied me to it. He pulled out a whip. He thrashed out at me. He yelled, cussed, punched, kicked, etc. He untied me and pushed me onto the floor. "Get out of my house, you're pathetic." I run to grab my daughter. She is sleeping, but I pull her into my arms. I run out the door, and run to the woods. A few weeks ago I found an abandoned camp. I put my daughter there, and left to get food, and when I came back she had a blanket. She was asleep on a stump.

When I arrived, there was a pleasant surprise. It was my 12 year old son. "Chris? " I was very surprised. "Mom? Who is that?" He was so happy to find out he had a sister. "Jeremy." He growled. He rubbed my black eye. "Why do you deal with that bastard?" I know what he meant. But I had to save my daughter. "Keep her." I ordered. "Mom, tell Avi." he replied. "I can't, you know that." I wished I could. "I  told him mom." He looked ashamed. "What did he say?" I hope the police weren't involved. "He told me to keep it to myself and he would try to help." I told him to save my daughter. " I will." he said.
