Chapter 3- Why do I feel this way?

Stiles' POV

     As we are cautiously staring, Jaden pops up out of the water. "You scared the hell out of me!" I yelled. "Your here! I missed you so much babe!" Emmy yelled.

Babe? She's dating Jaden! Why is she not telling me important things!? And how the hell did he know where we were!?

"I missed you too." Jaden said as he officially got out of the water. From that point, Emmy grabs Jaden and pulls him in to a kiss. Where that kiss turned into a make out session.

"Um.. I'm just gonna go." I said, because I felt like it was an awkward situation. They both didn't detach from each other to speak, but instead they both waved goodbye. I then jumped into the water and swam to shore, from there I started walking home to go check on my mom.

My father left me when I was a child. He just disappeared somewhere one day. Haven't heard from him since. So I don't know much about him.

Anyways I know for sure that no one is to be trusted.  I just need to be alone for a while to just think about things and clear my mind.

After about 45 minutes of dragging my cold, wet body, I'm finally down the street from my house where it is now in view. Holy shit! Sam is there. Fuck, fuck, fuck! I can't let him find me.

I needed to go to a new destination. I ran a few blocks away from my house without letting Sam see me, and I ended up at an old, abandoned house. This house was greenish with brown edges and had 3 floors. Jackpot.

I examined the house carefully for a minute or two to find a way inside, and I did. The back of the house had an unlocked door.

I slowly, quietly, and cautiously walked in and roamed around the house to check to see if it was empty or not. The coast was clear. But the only problem was that my phone is at home.

So that means I can't call my mom and check to see if she's okay. Shit!

I walked up the stairs to the second floor and entered a dark room. I walked up to one of the windows and ripped off the board covering it, letting the moonlight beam into the room.

It was already dark out, and all the street lights were already on. Which means, since its nightfall.. Anything could happen.

I decided that since there was a bed in the room, that I'd lie on it and think about what the hell happened today. It really wore me out.

Then before I knew it, I was out like a light. With what seemed like a few hours later, I was awoken by someone. "Mmm.." I groaned.

Upon opening my eyes, I saw Seth. But something's different about him. We're looking at each other eye to eye and its like love at first sight. Is this real?

I thought to myself. The moment that I blinked, I snapped myself back to reality. "What the hell Seth!?! What do you want!?' I yelled at him in a sleepy manner. I don't mean it though.  Seth smiles.

"I'm just making sure your alright. Don't worry. I'm alone and no one else knows where your at." But I'm not really into his words.

That smile, and that voice, its beautiful, and his orange-brown hazel eyes are making me go crazy! Wait- did he say don't worry? What does he mean by that? And how in the hell does he know where I was at!?

"Wait. What do you mean, and how did you know where I was?" I said, as I'm waking back up to reality. He grabs my hand gently.

His touch, its so warm and secure. I feel safe and comfortable. It makes me want to melt. "Emmy and Jaden told me what happened. And seeing as I know that Emmy's a witch, she told me where you was. And as far as we know, Sam is still around your area."

Okay I get the Sam part, but I'm lost on Emmy and Jaden. "Okay, but what are you talking about with Emmy and Jay." Seth starts laughing.

Damn that's a sexy laugh. "I hope that you know that we all knew you had a 'thing' for Jaden. And you still do. Your just not realizing that what you need could be right in front of you. You've just been blind enough to not realized that he was taken by your best friend."

This is a load of bullshit. "I never had a thing for Jaden nor will I ever and my 'best friend' has been lying to me for God knows how long!"

I got up, some how trying to fake my anger and headed towards the third floor, not really wanting to leave Seth's side. Its weird, I feel a strange pull to him ya know.

"I'm not a kid, I don't need a damn lecture you know." I said. Seth looks back at me. "And where are you going now?" He asks, following my trail.

I stopped in my tracks and turned around to look at Seth. "Away from all of this drama."  Then I turned back around and continued walking. "Wait."  Seth said.

"Aren't you hungry or something?" I smirked. "Actually, I am. Grab me something to eat if you go somewhere." Seth smiles again.

Gosh, please be mine. "Alright but while I'm out, take my phone because I know you don't have yours in case anything happens and if you need it to call your mom. She actually called Emmy earlier and she said you were staying over, but just check in."

Out of all people it had to be her? Fine. "But how do you know that I didn't have my phone?" I asked. "Because I called you earlier." Mhm..

Seth winks at me before leaving me in the house alone again. "I won't be long!" He yelled once he was on the front lawn.
