Hello, everyone! It's again Amanda Grace and my train of new ideas doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon... heh
And today... I'm starting a new story for GF fandom, to celebrate my YEAR anniversary of coming back to that fandom, as a week from today, a year ago, I decided to read "Relativity Falls. Season 1" fic by KittyKatBella on this very platform, which sent me down the rabbit hole of mystery twinning (hehe).
And I thought... what would be a better way to celebrate it, other than writing something, connected to what made me go crazy about that show? Well... yes, I have to admit, this is NOT set in Relativity Falls in my head personally, but I do think it can still work within the AU (just think about it as a pre-canon). It is staring the Stan twins as main characters through! Heh
Now, what do I wanted to say about this? Ah yeah!
Before I publish first offical chapter of this story... I want to write a small warning first.
This story, as stated in summary, was inspired by a song, called "Adolescence" by Signal-P and Orange and preformed by Kagamine Rin and Len (video is bellow, no real cover, so will have to go with subtitles, I hope you won't mind), with Stan and Ford as main characters in the song. (Plus with Stan being a trans, because I need practice to write trans characters, it sounded cute in my head and... just so it fits better with the lyrics).
Now, if you're wondering, why am I posting an author note, instead of actual first chapter is that the song is very... controversial, to say the least. Despite the song being about siblings being separated and no longer being allowed to show close affection towards each other... the usual interpretation of the song is that... they're doing dirty stuff, behind the closed doors. There is a less gross interpretation of this, but the first one is just more common with the way lyrics explain it.
Okay, I know that you're thinking that it's wrong or gross that I'm writing this and... you're right, if you want to read it as this. But still, I want you to keep in mind that personally, I see it being more of Rin and Len having separation anxiety and wanting to be close (because it's common for twins and the Kaganimes are usually portrayed as such), ignoring the fact that they're not allowed to, so this will be my personal interpretation of this song and therefore how I'll be writing the characters in my story. Okay? Okay!
And one last thing. If somewhen... SOMEHOW a person, who actually ships Stan and Ford together (and I am looking at you) finds this story... well... given the nature of original... alright, I can't blame you for seeing it this way, so you can stay and read it either way you wish, but I have two rules for you.
1. Do not force your ships into other people's faces, ESPECIALLY if they don't like this ship (or shipping relatives in general).
2. Do not leave any weird comments! Again, not everyone likes this stuff.
Any violation of these rules will be blocked or deleted! I want this to be a pleasant experience for everyone! I hope we can understand each other. And now, with this out of the way... look forward for the first chapter of this book! :)
