ch 16:not a date

I woke up after that night, I start of the morning with 50 push-ups,oh someone texted me on my phone,oh its erika

"Kaito are,you free today?" That's what she texted

"I am,why are you asking?"I responded

"Then can you go out with me for lunch?"

Huh why would she want to have lunch with me,I'll just think of it as gratitude for saving her

"Sure erika,where will we have lunch"

"I know a very nice restaurant near my place"

"Ok,wait I don't even know where you live"

"I'll tell you my address then,it's **********"

"Ok I'm on my way there then"

I told my parents that I was going out for lunch,my parents gave me money so I could eat outside,I was on my way to Erika's place

When I finally go there I texted her letting her now that I was already in front of her place,she came out of her apartment wearing a yellow dress her hair is long as ever,she looks so beautiful,wait what am I thinking about,this isn't even a date

"Kaito what are you looking at?"

"What no I was just waiting for you infront of your door then when you came out you just saw me looking at you that's it"

"Oh Ok,well then let's go shall we"

We came to the restaurant that she told me about,as we walked in she was holding my hands,wait is this really not a date?!,what am I even thinking

We got to our seat,when I looked in the menu I saw the prices of their food,they were so expensive the money that my parents gave me

"Miss mendoza I don't think I can afford even one dish from this restaurant"

"Huh what do you mean I was going to pay for us,I knew that you couldn't afford anything in this restaurant,this is for saving me yesterday"

Well she didn't have to...

"Oh thanks erika,but you didn't have to-"

"But I insist,I wanted to repay you,because if you weren't there no one could've saved me there"

Yeah she's right

"Well then I'll order this miss erika"

"Oh the steak ok"

erika called the waiter and she ordered our food

"So Kaito can I ask you something"

"Yeah sure miss erika"

"Uhh do you have a girlfriend?"

Huh?!,why would she ask me that,I mean I don't have one yet but...

"I don't,I am still not ready to get a girlfriend yet,even tho our age of consent is 13"

"Wait a minute how old are you?"

"I'm 15 miss erika"

Our food finally arrived,but uhh miss erika is in shock hearing my age,didn't she know my age when she first saw me?

"Miss erika are you Ok?"

"Is it really that shocking to hear my age?"

"Just eat I don't want to talk about,but I'm sorry if it offended you in anyway"

"It's ok most people that see me think that I am older than 15"

"Come on eat up while it's still hot"

"Thanks for the food!!"

It was actually the first time that I ate steak,since I know that steaks are very oily,sometimes I preferred eating salads but there wasn't a salad in the menu

When we were done eating...

"Uhm Kaito do you mind going shopping with me?,if it's ok"

"Uhm sure I'll ask my parents if it's ok"

I asked my parents if I could go shopping since with the girl I saved,I said that she wanted to repay me for saving her yesterday and she payed for my lunch,I was just going to go shopping with her,my parents agreed,I told erika that I can go with her

"Miss erika where will you go shopping?"

"In that mall right there"

We headed to that mall,and she went to a clothing store after she bought so many dresses,we got back to her place

Phew why did she shop this many clothes

"Anyway's thanks for helping me Kaito"

"Yeah thank you for taking me out to dinner I really appreciate it"

She suddenly got close to me,and then she kissed me on my cheek

"That's a thanks for helping me carry my clothes,well bye bye now"

What the hell just happened,I headed back to the apartment,and when I got there I just sat on my bed thinking what the hell was that kiss for....

This wasn't a date,but why did it feel like a date...?
