I know the wait is long (4 Months!! AH!!) so I thought I'd give you a sneak peak of what I call: "Marinette's A-ha Moment!" This is obviously a rough draft and the actual aha moment will be different.
Enjoy and please drop your thoughts in the comments!

"What does any of this mean?" Marinette studied the handwritten note for the umpteenth time, trying to piece everything together.
The red kwami floated over to where her holder stood in front of her bulletin board. "Marinette, you need to take a break! You've been at this all night!"
Marinette stifled a yawn as she continued to rearrange the clues. "I can't Tikki," she paused, writing something down on another sticky note. "All of this could lead me to Monarch's identity!"
She reviewed what she had so far: Someone had been sending her hints, and while at first she ignored them, she couldn't help but wonder if they held something important. It wasn't until yesterday that she knew they pointed to Monarch's identity.
They had left her a letter on her rooftop terrace that, until now, she didn't know what it meant.

The kwami caught a line that her holder didn't seem to notice: 'They will lead you to the father of your kitty.' Did that mean what she thought it did? If it does, should she tell Marinette?
"Wait a minute..." Marinette reviewed all the clues this mysterious person had left her.
A bottle of Agreste perfume, a Vogue Fashion magazine clipping, and an old DVD of the movie Solitude. One thing they all have in common: Gabriel Agreste.
She dropped the note and stared at the board in shock.
No, no, no! Not Adrien's father!
She worked for him. He handed her the cards that made her have a future in the fashion industry. Now she had to put him in jail? What would Adrien think?
"I can't do this Tikki!" Marinette cried. "If Adrien knew who his father was--"
"He doesn't have to know," the kwami assured her. "And now that you know who Monarch is, you can come up with a plan to defeat him!"
Marinette glanced at the printout for the Grand Fashion Gala which would be hosted at the Agreste Manor. It was one of the biggest events for the top fashion designers to go and show off their prized work.
Mari knew that the theme was a Masquerade Ball. The perfect place for a certain masked hero to hide.
"Tikki, I think I know what to do."
She grabbed her sketchbook and began to design the dress that would help her confront Mr. Agreste.
"It's time we end Monarch's reign!"
