I wonder if i made her uncomfortable. I don't want to, but I cant help it. She's so beautiful.
She has been in her bedroom for about an hour now. "Isla, you okay in there?" I ask. "No I died." She said sarcastically. "Yes i'm fine." I scoff at her sarcasm. "Did your hair burn off?" I ask, acting scared.
She opened the door. "You tell me, did it burn off?" she said. I stare at her in shock. She added light curls to her beautiful brown hair, she didn't wear any make-up and she still looks perfect. She is wearing an oversized gray sweater, with blue jean shorts.
"Hello?" She says, bringing me back to reality. "Oh sorry. No, but it looks like shit," I say, teasing her. She mumbles something i don't understand, but im guessing it was offensive.
"I'm joking, you know that. You look amazing." I say, to cheer her up. "Oh.. thanks.." She said "Did you go home at all yesterday?" I sorta froze at her question. Nobody but Jayden knows about my parents. My dad is back to being an alcoholic, and my mom left.
"Oh uh, no. I had a sleepover." I said, awkwardly. She nodded her head. "I missed the bus, and Jayden is knocked out. I dont know what to do." She said, to break the silence. "I can drive you." I added. "Really? Thank you!" She said, relieved.
