Jr, Nick, Y/N and the rest of Megadeth were at a restaurant to celebrate the release of Countdown to Extinction. The album became platinum after a couple weeks of being on the billboards. Everyone was so happy because now they get recognition.

"Maybe cause-" Dave said but got cut off because Y/N and Jr came back. "Hey guys!" Y/N said smiling with food in her hands. "Hi Y/N." Nick said getting all giddy. Jr and Y/N gave everyone their food and they all sat down to eat.
"God Im so glad the record went well." Jr said smiling. "Me too I never thought that it would become this successful but I guess it all paid off." Dave said eating. "You guys are so talented." Y/N said still smiling. "Especially you Jr." Y/N smiled at him while hugging him. "Thanks baby." Jr said kissing her on the lips.
Nick tried not to look and just ate his food. Then he had an idea. Im gonna win her over. Im gonna show her that Im way better than jr. He smiled at his idea.
Later that night they all went to the apartment where they all had seperate rooms. Y/N and Jr shared a room (obviously) downstairs. Nicks room was upstairs and Martys was in the middle to Nicks while Daves room was on the right next to Marty.

"Im okay I guess." Nick said. "It'll be okay man theres other girls out there for you." Dave said patting him on the back. "But they aren't Y/N. Shes literally my type ya know?" He said feeling teary eyed. Dave just gave him a hug.
"You'll find someone okay man dont worry." Dave said. Nick tried not to cry. "I just wish I was Jr." He sniffed. "Dont be sad man." "Your a great guy and any girl would love you for that." Dave said with reassurance in his eyes. "You mean that?" Nick smiled slightly. "Yeah." Dave said smiling. "Thanks Dave." He said. "No problem." Dave said walking to his room. "Good night." He said closing the door.
Nick went into his room. He was trying to go to sleep but his mind was racing about Y/N. He sighed. How the hell am I gonna win her over? Jrs got her wrapped around his finger.
