"Appa! I'm gonna go to school now!" Garam yelled to her father upstairs.
"Bye Ram! Stay safe!" Her father said, although when he was drunk he would neglect her, he still wasn't that bad as a father at least, that's what Garam needed right now. A caring family figure.
Garam made her way to her highschool, and she kept admiring the trees and flowers the surrounded the school. She was amazed becuase of how beautiful the flowers truly looked, she liked to cherish and admire the world before it would go crashing down and be destroyed.
Garam was a transferee from Japan, although she was also Korean blooded. (Garam in this story is half jp and half kr)
Garam had lived in Japan for more than 5 years before returning to Korea to feel the fresh Seoul breeze on her skin yet again. She missed this place, she also happend to miss her mother as well.
Garam's mother died when she was out on a late night stroll with Garam due to protecting her child, and ever since, her father has changed drastically. Before, he was disgusted with alcohol, and alcoholic themselves. Now? He's exactly just like them. Everything changed in Garam's life when her mother died, and not to mention Garam was there to witness everything, the death, the blood, and the knife.
Garam blamed herself for her mother's death, but she never really showed her sadness to anyone. She was worried if she did, they would too, worry for her like her father did.
Her father, Kim Shin, (this is just an oc since garam's parents' names havent been told before and after her debut) is a business man, and a part-time stay at home father. He was the best thing Garam could ask for when she was 7 years old, the same age her mother had died right in front of her eyes.
Her father never blamed her for it, he said it was her fate, and that she just had to let her go. But letting someone go that you loved a lot, is gonna take more time than she thinks it will. She still hasn't let her go after all these years, its been 10 years since the incident, Garam's already 17, her father's already 40. She's been through a lot, and sadly no one knows except her father.
She didn't have any friends in Japan, nor in Korea. So no one really knew about her, but her father? He was famous, succesful, and friendly. No one knew about his drinking habits, and Garam didn't want her dad's company to go down in flames and end in a bad way because of the same reason her mother had died. She didn't want the same thing to happen, her dad was the only thing she had in her life.
As Garam made her way into the school, she was met with the principal, Mrs. Kim. Although they had the same last name, she didn't know who she was, probably a distant aunt or something.
"Well hello there, Kim Garam I assume?" Mrs. Kim had asked Garam, in a nice tone which Garam wasn't used to.
"H-hello.. And yes.. I'm Kim Garam Mrs. Kim." Garam says, returning the somewhat nice tone in her voice.
"Here's your schedule for the day, now go off and look for your classroom, have a nice day, Kim Garam-ssi!" Mrs. Kim yelled out to Garam when she walked away.
"Y-you too Mrs. Kim!" Garam is an introvert, yes. But she's still her smart self in class and she listens very well to her teachers.
As Garam looked at the paper, she saw the room number "605" which seemed to be right next to the room she was infront of. She went in and she saw more than 20 students already on their chairs waiting for their professor.
Their heads immediately snap to Garam when she takes a step in. Garam gets shy and she runs to her destinated seat, there was a girl next to her. The girl looked cold and she also looked a bit lonely. Garam didn't really want to be a chatterbox, and she never was, but she sort of felt bad for the girl, no one deserves to be that sad Garam thought.
"A-are you o-okay?" Garam cursed internally for stuttering and making a fool out of herself right next to her classmate.
The girl just nodded slightly and went back to reading her book, at least Garam tried to cheer the girl up. She wasn't in the right place to ask what happend to the girl, and they didn't even know each other.
Eunchae.
Seems like my seatmate finally arrived, looks like she's early. It's still 6:37 am. She's lucky this is her first day, or she'll be tortured by those wretched fake ass demons in the back.
Seo Shin Ae, Lee Jeno, and Shin Ryujin were the devil trio of the whole school. Hm? She's talking to me?
"A-are you o-okay?" My seatmate said, I could only chuckle internally, before ndoding my head in a slow motion before going back to my book I was reading.
Then the professor came, and we all stood up and said good morning to Mrs. Seo. I noticed my seatmate was uncomfortable, so I decided to scooch over just a little, or else I would fall off the chair and humiliate myself.
She quietly mouthed a "thanks" and I just nodded in return, bless her heart for being so nice. This is the first time i've been treated like this in years, well, ever since my parents and my stepmom died. I've been alone, it's nice to have someone that has manners again. Thanks, my strange seatmate.

Garam noticed her seatmate wasn't paying attention to the class, she decided to shrug it off since she may have good grades, she didn't know her, neither did her seatmate know Garam.
Garam was focusing on the class, while Eunchae was admiring and inspecting Garam's face and everything about her. Eunchae learned to know that the girl liked the color pink, especially the lighter tone. She also grew to learn that the girl had big brown eyes, black hair, and a cute face.
Eunchae wonders on how she described Garam as "cute" as she hasn't for anybody, well, she guesses it's the first today.
