Football legend, Neymar Jr., and girlfriend Estrella Martínez have reportedly broken up. Yes, you read that correctly, the internets long time favorite couple has split after 3 years of dating! The relationship caused some controversy, as the pair got together when Martínez was barely 18 years-old and the PSG star was 27 years-old. They faced multiple difficulties and break ups throughout their time together, but it seems this time it's official!
A source close to the couple spoke to us recently stating; "The relationship was toxic from the start. He (Neymar) had been seeking to ask her (Estrella) out for quite some time at the time of getting together, but she declined as she was still a minor. Although this soon changed when she turned of legal age and the couple got together soon after. She has cried many times after Neymar verbally abused her or she had found him in bed with another woman. She has been trying to get freed of his grasps for ages, but only now succeeded."
You're not the only one whose shocked! Everyone saw the pair as the perfect couple as portrayed by the media, but it seems it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows.
There has been absolute silence from both parts, including their siblings; Carola Martínez and Rafaella Santos, who usually speak out in defense of their respective siblings.

It's the end of the road for RedBull F1 driver, Max Verstappen, and Kelly Piquet, daughter of 3-times world champion Nelson Piquet.
Piquet announced via Instagram story that her and Verstappen had taken separate roads; "Hello everyone, Max and I have decided to end our relationship. We still remain good friends and I have nothing against him but great respect and good memories. We ask for respect during these times. Thank you."
We have an insider source differing to Piquet's claims, saying: "They didn't get off on the best of terms. At times they fought a lot because of minor things, but attempted to push through. Max's final straw was Kelly accusing him of cheating during the Hungarian Grand Prix, he took it very personally."
The pair begun dating late 2020, yet only announced it on New Years Day of 2021. Piquet has accompanied the driver to many races across the globe and has shown support. Verstappen had a very close relationship with her daughter, Penelope, also.
To say nobody saw this coming would be wrong. The couple has been circulating the news in the past two months and not in a positive way!
