Chapter 1: The story Begins (again)

•Setting: Anthony's Room•

"Anthony! Wake up and get ready" Anthony's mom yelled from downstairs, her calling him woke him up he sat up in his bed then turned to sit on the edge of it. As he sat the edge of his bed he started stretching for a little while before he got up to his feet and walked towards his closet, he opened the door and reached up to the top shelf to get his school uniform, after he got dressed he grabbed his backpack and flew down the stairs. "Good morning Anthony" Anthony's mom said while cooking at the stove, Anthony turned to her still buttoning on his shirt, "Good morning... I got to go to school early today for a uhhh... project" Anthony Replied, "Okay be safe" His mother added, she turned away from the stove and stared as Anthony walked out of the door. He headed down the street and walked into a gas station to buy himself breakfast since he skipped it at home. He walked down the Isles grabbing a cereal bar and a bottled coffee, he checked out his food and walked to school, about 5 minutes later... "Hey I'm surprised you didn't use the bus as u usually do?", Anthony looked behind himself  to see His friend Jackson, "What's your excuse" Anthony added still eating, "I got kicked off the bus for a week remember?" Jackson replied, "I didn't want to give up my phone that the fucking BUS DRIVER didn't pay for, so he kicked me off" He added, "Pfft" Anthony tired to hold back his laugh remembering the scene. "Anyways, why are you walking today?" Jackson asked, "I didn't feel like talking to my family so I left early" Anthony replied, they where two streets down the school by time Anthony finished his food, "You finally done?" Jackson asked, "you eat really slow" He added, " I like to enjoy my food", "unlike you who inhales your food in a millisecond" Anthony replied sharply, they had made it to the school after a minute or two of talking, they entered the school and went about their day attending their classes and their after school clubs.

•Time skip to after school had ended•

Anthony was pacing in front of the school waiting for Jackson, "Where is he, school ended half an hour ago!?" Anthony thought to himself, but a couple of seconds later Anthony saw Jackson walk through the School sort immersed in his phone, Anthony ran up to him and started shaking him violently, "BRO YOU MADE ME WAIT 20 MINUTES IN 95 DEGREE HEAT FOR YOU, IMA SERIOUSLY HURT YOU" Anthony yelled angrily, Jackson was dizzy by time Anthony let him go, Bobbling Back in forth Jackson said,"I was kept back... for being accused of stealing a phone... that I didn't even know existed...", "Well if you wasn't such a troublemaker you probably wouldn't have been thought of as a possible thief" Anthony said dragging Jackson by his ear, "Well it's not my fault these kids are annoying assholes" Jackson said rubbing his throbbing ear, Anthony and Jackson walked down the sidewalk as their bus passed them by on its way back from dropping kids off, "See that, we could have been on that bus" Anthony said pointing at it, Jackson just continued walking in silence. They arrived back at the gas station from earlier, "Anyways you ready to go to the asylum?" Jackson says breaking the silence he stopped dead in his tracks as he said this also bringing Anthony to a halt, "Yeah did you bring your supplies?" Anthony asked in reply, Jackson stayed silent, "Your lucky I brought extra let's go" Anthony said as he waved to Jackson to move along, they passed up the Anthony's street and walked a few blocks down, then they turned into a park, "You remember the way Jackson?" Anthony asked, "Yeah it's left of the statue" Jackson replied, "No it's the trail behind the statue" Anthony corrected, "If you knew then why did you ask me!?" Jackson asked annoyed, "To test how stupid you are", "you passed by the way" Anthony replied with a smile, in the park their was a statue in the back, it was hidden from sight from the entrance, there is a giant fountain in the middle covered in moss and mud, they walk down the path and around the fountain, they walked off The concrete and onto the grass they made a turn around this giant tree and came face to face with the statue of the cities founder. The statue was a tall woman with a long braid going down her back, she was holding a goblet in one hand and a dagger in the other, "Damn... she's ugly" Jackson whispered, Anthony nudged him to shut up, "Come on let's go" Anthony said as he started to advance towards the statue, he walked around and saw the path he was talking about earlier, the path was narrow with tree branches creeping down on it. "Well... after you" Anthony said while running behind Jackson and pushing him forward, "W-wait I don't wanna-" Jackson got cut off when he noticed he was already on the trail "Don't worry if anything happens I won't be in your way of running... I'll be gone before you even start running" Anthony said sarcastically, but in reality he was telling the truth, the two boys walked down the path for about a good 2 minutes until they made it to a turn Jackson was contemplating whether to keep going or to turn back until he heard a twig break, he immediately paused and then started running back until he ran into Anthony, "it was just me"Anthony said in reassurance, "Look you can see the asylum right there, Also this was your idea" Anthony reminded, "I know that..." Jackson said worried, they made their way out of the forest and into the light, they stopped at the giant asylum with busted windows, graffiti, and moss covered walls "Well after you..." Anthony said leading Jackson inside...
