Chapter 2: Going Insane

Jackson and Anthony are standing in front of the Asylum, "Alright go in" Anthony says pushing him ahead, "No, No, No, Not again it's your turn!" Jackson says stopping Anthony, he stands still crossing his arms "Well... what are you waiting for?" Anthony stood there examining the mossy, vine-covered building, He walked a couple of feet to the Right where you could see a series of busted out windows and holes in the wall covered with dirty wet looking boards. "What are you doing?" Jackson asked with a confused expression, "Finding a good way in" Anthony said while eyeing a certain window, We walked towards the forest and grabbed a rock the size of his palm, he took the rock and walked back towards Jackson, "What are you gonna do with that?" Jackson asks curiously, "Kill you with it," Anthony says with a smile, Jackson thinks he's bluffing until Anthony turns and whispers "No one would ever know it was me, they wouldn't find you here" This statement made Jackson very nervous Until he sees Anthony pull his arm back getting ready to throw the rock with full force, Jackson closed his eyes covering his face getting ready for the impact until he hears a loud snapping sound he opened one eye as he sees Anthony walk towards the board he broke with that rock he threw, Jackson finally relaxes as he saw Anthony's true intention "awww I missed you," Jackson Heard Anthony said while climbing into the window that the board he broke was covering, Jackson gulped as he followed Anthony in.

"Okay, now what's next? "Anthony asked Jackson, "How am I supposed to know" He replied, "You were the one who wanted to do this" Anthony added, The duo looked around from the spot they were standing in they saw multiple doors and hallways with numbers each of on them, They walked out of the room and saw that they where in room 17, "So where should we go?" Anthony asked, "Is there a basement?" Jackson replied, "Now why would we go to the one place where everyone gets killed in scary movies?" Anthony said smacking Jackson on the head, "Okay dumb idea" Jackson said apologizing while rubbing his head. "Alright let's do the opposite of that and go upstairs, The opposite of a bad idea is a good one right?" Jackson says trying to make amends, "hmmmmm..... Alright but you're going first" Anthony replies, They walk down the hallway looking for any sign of a staircase until they stumble on a certain door that piques their interest they pause and open the door Jackson mindlessly walks in and ends up falling down a pit where he has to hold on for dear life. Anthony quickly goes to grab his friend's hand  and help him up "Hold on Jack!!" Anthony yells as he tries his best to pull him up But he ends up falling with him.

Anthony and Jackson's vision starts to blur as they seem to be falling forever the last thing Anthony saw before he blacked out was a brightly glowing eyeball. They awake in a dark, damp room rising slowly they take a look around the gloomy room, "Where the hell are we" Jackson exclaims, "How should I know" Anthony responds "I'm just as confused as you" he added. They stood up and looked around in major confusion, they noticed a doorway with a faint glow emitting from it, and as if hypnotized they slowly walked toward the light. Once they entered the room they immediately snapped back into their senses, "What happened?..." Anthony asked in confusion but before he could get an answer a bright light erupted from the floor swallowing The two whole. By the time they regained their senses, they saw a clear blue sky, lying on their backs they sat up in confusion "Weren't we just in a dark pit?" Anthony asks as he turns his head to look at Jackson, he gets confused as Jackson looks much older than before, and Jackson is confused as well at ANthony's appearance. The two stood up much taller than they were before, they examined their bodies seeing how much they changed they were absolutely confused they noticed a billboard with the date "June 12th, 2028" In disbelief they looked around and asked a girl a girl nearby what the date was "Excuse me, can you tell me the date?" Anthony asked as he walked toward her, a little confused she answered "Oh sure" She pulled out her phone and flipped it on "It's June 12th, 2028" she replied, "Thank you Anthony said as he walked away, "So what did she say?" Jackson asked, "Apparently it's June 12th, 2028" Anthony replied, "well that explains why we look older" Anthony added, a moment of silence appeared between them allowing reality to sink in, "WAIT WE ARE IN THE FUTURE" Jackson exclaimed loudly, Anthony covered his mouth "Shhhhh...." "We are in public people are gonna think we're crazy" Anthony whispered, He wanted to scream with all hi might but he knew he had to remain calm. Memories of their life until then came flooding into their heads, they clutched their heads feeling like they were about to explode they groaned in pain. They couldn't remember everything but they did remember important inforwhere they lived, passwords to important accounts and basic knowledge they learned in school, like Algebra, Physics, finances, et cetera. after the migraine passed the two walked to a nearby bench and piece together the information they knew, "So we are collage students who live in an shared apartment, we have classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday", "we also have part time jobs at two different company's which is our only source of income" Anthony recollected, "Also according to our phones we are in the other side of town from our apartment" Jackson added. The two sat and thought for a while, contemplating their next choice of action, and then Anthony suddenly remembers "Wait its June 12th right?" He exclaimed, "I believe so or that girl lied to us" Jackson replied confused, "whats in three days" Anthony added obviously hinting toward something, "Three days....." Jackson paused thinking, "Your birthday!" He finally exclaimed, "exactly, My dad made me a checking account that i could access when i am 18, he put a lot of money in it waiting for me so i could move out of my mothers house" Anthony replied, "We can rely on that while we adjust here" He added, they suddenly felt a vibration in their pockets assuming it was they phones they reached into their pockets to grab it,  but  they didn't feel their phones the two pulled out a glass marble, confused they examined it wanting to know what is it and why the have it.
