(Russia POV)
I was already feeling tired from the amount of business that has came in, not even mentioning it was 9:30PM only a few more minutes until I could go home and the store would close
I kept thinking about the encounter with the person on the other side of the dumpster but I knew that if I kept thinking about it, my curiosity was going to be out the roof
Besides, I was much to tired to be thinking about that right now.
I cleaned off the last of the few tables in the restaurant part, waving the final people inside the building goodbye as they made their way over to their cars
Once the final table was done and the restaurant was completely clean for another work day tomorrow, I decide to meet with my other coworkers to listen them discuss the day as I rested my head against the table behind them
Me and China would commonly stay back and talk after work while everyone else left for the night to discuss our lives since it was the only time China wasn't so.. busy
He always had something going on during the weekend and I didn't wanna disturb him by canceling his plans for something I wanted to do with him
It always confused me because it was always something different.
"I have to go to my moms house for the weekend!"
"My aunt is having a wedding in a different state!"
"My other friend needs me to watch his niece while he works!"
"I'm potty training my dog at the moment!"
To be honest, the potty training excuse was funny since his dog was 42 years old
In doggy years anyway
All I want to do with him is go to a movie or watch a baseball game like how I imagine friends would, it's not like I want to go get another job or something like that? Just because I'm a hard worker doesn't mean I don't like taking a break and doing something fun, besides it would be a new experience for me!
I watched as China walked over to the seat he sat down in as he gave me a cocky smile
"Your my best friend, you know that right Russia?" He smiled with his eyes closed as he leaned back against the cabinet behind him before he continued "And that means a lot to me in my book."
"Your my friend and my best friend China." I shrugged at him as I took a sip of coffee from my cup
He gave me a confused look as he also took a sip of water "What do you mean I'm your friend and your best friend?"
"Your the only friend I have China."
He gave me a understanding look as he gave me a quick nod in a way to say 'I'm sorry' as he forget I didn't have anyone else to really talk to besides my family, but I seemed like he was bothered by something else from my statement
I nodded back slowly as I thought back to a few hours ago
"Some little human told me to come get you earlier since you left for 10 minutes and they were worried."
I saw his eyes widen as he spit some of his water back in his water bottle "What about it?" He looked at me with curiosity because of my question
"Well uh... where did you go? I couldn't find you and-" I spoke in a soft tone until he cut me off by putting his pointer finger against my lips
