Author's POV (Continued from the last part)
"Last time you ended the conversation short. So I came here.." Vihaan said.. "Yes, I was a little busy that time.." She said and placed her hands on the table..
"Aap kuch reports ke baare mein bol rhi thi.. Kya the voh..?" He asked and she sighed.. "Vihaan.. Shreenika is my patient for the last 7 years, I can't tell you much about her. My profession does not give me such rights.."
"But try to understand, I am her husband for 4 years.." He tried to convince but she shook her head in negatively..
"I can't trust you or anyone else.. Her problems are meant to be kept personal.." Raima said.. " I assure you. Main usse kabhi nahi pata lagne dunga.. But please.." He pleaded..
(Doctors especially psychiatrists don't give such fragile information easily, but this is our story and Raima is our sweetheart...)
"She is suffering from anxiety issues and her condition is not improving the way we expected. There are few chances that she can get into depression..." Raima sighed..
For a moment, Vihaan lost himself.. He never knew about any of this.. He never knew his wife was having sessions regarding her mental health...
"I.. I don't know about this.." He said in a broken voice.. "I know.. She liked you a lot.. Like sincerely and she does even now... But maybe for her, you were just an idol... She never wanted to get married Vihaan.." She said making his worst nightmare come to reality..
"She is lonely and never wants to be with someone... After she got married we thought her mental health will start recovering, but nothing like that happened.. During her pregnancy, she improved a bit but still no progress after that..."
"As far as our treatment her state started deteriorating something around 15 years.. After that, it never improved.."
Vihaan shifted uncomfortably on the chair trying to understand the statements said by the doctor..
"Can I ask the reason for this..?" He asked.. "Some family problems... At first, I thought they were minor, but they were not... She is completely left broken from inside..."
"Abhi bhi koi improvement ka chance nahi hai..?" He asked with hope... " I am scared but no... The success rate is less than 10 per cent.. High chances of her getting into depression and never recovering..."
After a few more minutes of conversation, Vihaan came out of her cabin completely devastated.. He wanted her to clear all this, but he knew that it was not the correct time..
He needs to get all the reasons required for her this state..
He drove to Shreenika's paternal house as she was out of town for some work purposes..
At Shreenika's house
"Bilkul tum pe gaya hai yeh.." Shreenika's mother said while looking at her grandson..
Vihaan just smiled but later dropped it.."Naysa... Sia ka room kahan hai..?" He asked and Naysa looked at him in disbelief.. "Di ne aapse kuch kaha tha kya..?" She asked and he searched for any excuse in his mind..
"Haan koi book chaiye this usse so.. But kyu..?" He asked "She doesn't like when people touch her stuff without her permission.. Especially her books and diaries.."
After the conversation he got up to look for her room.. He entered inside and found a table filled with some diaries..
He got through some and finally found her diaries.. She had been writing to them since she was 15.. The time when he saw her for the first time..
He took them in a bag along with some books to create less suspicion.. After dinner, he took Ivaan and went back to his place..
He opened the first page of the diary and found it filled with the newspaper cuttings of his pictures and interviews...
She admired him a lot...
