Luna's pov :

"LUNA WAKE UP" my mom screams from the bottom of the stairs as I gets up I grab my bags from beside the door and walks down the stairs. I grabs a water bottle and head to the van. Once I get to the van i pack my bags in the trunk as her my sister Amanda walks out the door

" Luna I get front seat you get back okay?" I hate my sister she's a 2 faced bitch she always gets her way and she's been getting her way more often since dad and mom got divorced she caught him in bed with another woman I mean it's not normal for them to have a good relationship they fight often but since the divorce my moms been saving money and trying to get out of the house.

" LUNA" my mom says " stop daydreaming and get in the car" I walk to the left side of the van and hop in the way back we are moving to Michigan far away from my father and it's gonna be a long drive so might as well explain my life and how I ended up here.

When I was 5 my mom and dad started arguing my mom would put me in my room with Amanda and depend on me to get her to not know what's happening just the other wall away. My dad started drinking and would get violent and hit us my mom would try and stand up for us but he would be to blinded by anger to understand he's hurting his own family his own blood. My father went to jail when I was 12 for drinking and driving.

And so "SNAP SNAP" I snap back into reality and realize I was staring out the window well my music stopped playing awhile ago and see my mom trying to get my attention I guess I will finish this story another time.
I take my headphones out "luna we are almost there you've been daydreaming for hours it's dark out" my moms says in an annoyed but okay tone " sorry " I say and realize we are at a gas station. I hop out of the car and walk in seeing Amanda already scavenging for food

I walk over to the drinks and look at them and see a Pepsi my favorite drink is Pepsi I checked the cals and decided it's good enough to have it and walk over to the counter "can I get this" the guys just looks at me and scans the drink "2.09" I pull out 3 dollars pay and walk away as I'm heading to the car where mom and Amanda are waiting I notice there's 3 guys sitting in a van with a camera prompt up on the dashboard they give me and weird look and go back to talking I notice one long haired wearing a lyrical lemon hoodie keeps watching me as I walk to the car.

-time skip-

I grab my bags from the car and walk into the house it was big enough for a family of 6 and theirs only 3 people staying here crazy. I walk into the room I picked it was white with a giant walk in closet and and bathroom that could fit like 5 people in it. I set my bags down on the ground and groan I feel like shit. I walk over to my bags and grab my ice skates I saw a frozen pond down the block it is winter here and it's freezing so I'm not shocked that there's a frozen down pond.

As I walk out of the house grabbing the keys hanging on a hook by the door I hear footsteps behind me "where are you going it's been an hour since we got here" ugh of course it's Amanda, Amanda is stupid so if I make up a quick lie I can get past her.

"Oh I'm just heading out for groceries mom asked" I said hopefully she believes it as I poke myself on the tip of my finger with my key I hear "whatever you better get coke" ew coke I hate Coca Cola bro any man I see who hates Coca Cola as much as I do I will marry them without hesitation.
