Happy reading ❤
Ahaan woke up irritated on the stupid alarm, that was shouting continuously after every fifteen minutes, since an hour. Opening his eyes irritatedly, he took his phone to turn this annoying beast off, when his eyes fell on the time, it was half past seven in the morning.
I was late.
He opened his eyes to find the laptop lying on the bed reminding him of his incomplete presentation.
"Damm”, he groaned and hurried towards the washroom to complete the daily morning chores.
Today was a pleasant sunday morning, a beautiful one to go out with your friends or family, but not for someone like him, who has been constantly working hard to set up his own startup.
It was an important day, he had to go and meet the new investors for his firm, his newfound business of architecture.Ahaan was never a corporate employee kind of a person, since childhood his only dream was to have his own company, his own startup. Therefore, he took loans from banks to finance his own company of architecture that was doing good business till now, and if today's meeting turned out be a success, it's going to be big.
Born in a middle class family, it was not easy for him to dream big, all his relatives were always there to pull him down, but by God's grace his family had always supported him, his father specially. Though still, because of these stupid relatives, he was forced to take science in class eleventh despite his interest in commerce. He knows he can't blame them alone because it was him too who wanted to take science because all his friends had opted for it.
Yes I was a fool and I agree. But you can't just expect a teenager to leave all his friends abruptly at one go.
He still is confused, whether he should regret that decision or should be happy about it. At that time, yes, he was happy to meet ‘certain someone’ but regretted instantly after studying the first chapter of chemistry book.
That subject is actually very very difficult!!But as of now, he regrets meeting that ‘certain someone’ but still is satisfied with his decision of being an architect. He is passionate about it and loves being an architect.
Ahaan worked in a firm for a couple of years, but didn't enjoyed working for another person. Hence he left the job even after a good earning to give his sole attention to his only dream, to his start-up.He was lucky to have such supportive parents, who believed in him even after not getting work for a whole month. The constant taunts and advises from relatives, society and his corporate colleagues were never a problem, because they always motivated him to perform his best and to show them what he is capable of. It was difficult but not impossible. The process was slow and tiring, yet so beautiful and relaxing. After continuous hardwork and struggle of three years, now he was able to earn good enough to manage his and his families expanses. He was capable of fulfilling his and his parent's dream. He was capable to pamper his not so little sister with his love in forms of small yet meaningful gifts.
Phewww.
After around an hour, he was finally done with his work. Immediately, he took the blazer, laptop bag, car keys and ran down the stairs hurriedly.
"This boy is never going to learn, I had told him so many times to wake up early in the morning but this new generation thinks of their parent as some fools. Ab khaa ke to jaa.”, his mother, Mrs Rekha Malhotra ranted.
(Now atleast have your breakfast)“I will eat on the way, bye mom, bye dad.", he ran outside the door ignoring his mother's continuous rants which he knew will be waiting when he would come back home.
