I was at the astern of the ship like Rose from the film Titanic. I love that film, it was really romantic but painfully tragic at the end. My eyes seem to have fallen shut as I enjoyed the night air that gently blew against my skin, my hands tightly pulling my shoal against my frame when I heard someone speak from behind me.

"Don't do it." A familiar lad entering my line of sight as I turned around, my eyebrow arched in amusement, looking at none other than Louis himself before deciding to play along in his little acting show. I turned back around, this time facing the now dimly lit ocean.

"Stay back! Don't come any closer!" My tone struggling to match the ideal 'threatening' tone. He chuckled and continued our little show.

"Come on, just give me your hand and I'll pull you over." he extended his hand out towards me, palms up.

"No, stay where you are. I mean it! I'll let go!" Despite my words, I tightened my grip on the bars. He approached me, his footsteps getting louder and louder with every step. Stopping right behind me. I felt his warm breath fan the baby hair on the nape of my neck. He brought his lips up to my ear and whispered,

"No, you won't." I couldn't suppress a shiver at his warm breath blowing gently into my ear whilst he continued his cruel torture. From the tone I've gotten to know, to the tone which I've never even heard of. (Considering we've just met earlier today). I can see his lips form into grin through my peripheral vision.

"What do you mean No, I won't? Don't presume to tell me what I will and will not do, you don't know me!" I took a reluctant step away from him. After a swift turn, I was facing him with a feeling I never thought I'd have. I felt so brave.. so free.

"Well, you should've done it already." he stuffed his hands inside the comfort of his pockets. I captured the gaze of his illuminating blue eyes, I knew that I stared too long because a knowing smirk came back. I ripped my gaze away from his as I felt heat rush up my neck.

"You're distracting me! Go away!" My eyes couldn't help but find their way back into his own. I peered deeply into his eyes. His eyes had a mysterious shade of blue and it held this glint of glee. His gaze locked with mine.

"I can't. I'm involved now. You let go, and I'm gonna have to jump in there after you." For some reason, this doesn't feel like we're acting anymore. He walked towards the right-hand side and turned back to face me.

"D-Don't be absurd! You'd get killed!" I gushed out. I quickly turned my back towards him. You could hear his footsteps walking towards me once again. Each thump. My heart, I could feel it beat faster. My breath that I didn't even realize I was holding, left my mouth as a shaky sigh.

"I'm good at giving CPR." his lips formed into a smug smile as he held my hand delicately and kissed the back of it. The feeling of his warm, soft lips at the skin on my hand was indescribable. I could feel the uncontrollable fluttering in the pit of my stomach and my eyes were tempted to clamp shut, but I didn't. I knew that he knew that that wasn't part of the whole acting routine anymore. He knew he was receiving some reaction from me.

I took in a deep breath and exhaled it into a huff. He pulled back his lips from my hand, slowly letting go of my hand as he produced a smile. A genuine smile. He looked at me and tilted his head slightly to the side.

"You know, you're a pretty good actress." he complimented with a playful wink. I couldn't hold back a smile which led me to biting on my lip.

"You were better..." As if it was instinct, I moved closer to him. He mimed my actions and I didn't notice how close we were until I felt his warm breath breeze against on my lips.

Tearing my gaze away from his eyes, I cleared my throat, it seemed as if I haven't spoken in a thousand years.

"Um.. G-Goodnight, Louis."

I stood up straight, fixing my posture whilst I backed away and created a safe distance between us. I flattened down my sundress's skirt and peered up at him in the eyes, (which took so much courage).

"Goodnight, Danielle." He purred out my name which sent tingles up my spine. Goosebumps were forming and I quickly rubbed my hands over my arms, the shoal not being of much service. Louis flashed me his signature smile and stuffed his hands into his pockets again before he started to walk away. The gap between us, increasing with every step he took. I forced my feet to do the same, trying to trace his footsteps towards the lift.

But to my shock, he was no longer there. The lift made a ding sound shocking me slightly but notifying me that the lift doors opened. I stepped inside and pressed the button that said 4. I was leaning back on the lift's wall and watched as the numbers decrease until it got to the fourth floor. The lift made another ding sound before the doors slowly parted.

I opened up my purse and took out my key, hastily unlocking my door. My hand tightly grasped the door knob as I turned it and lazily dragged my feet across the floor of my room. Kicking the door shut behind myself and throwing my purse on the coffee table before I continued my journey to my bedroom.

I grabbed a towel from the rack, some PJs and a white shirt with neon pink letterings of 'Dope'. I headed to the bathroom and took a quick, refreshing shower.

My muscles seemed to have relaxed. After rinsing off, I stepped out of the shower and dried myself with the towel. I secured the towel around my body and left my hair to dry on it's own. Quickly, I slid on my knickers before tugging on my PJs and then my shirt.

I left the bathroom with a grateful smile and went back to the living room. My body slumping almost automatically on the couch and my hand crawled over to the edge of the couch to grab the remote before turning on the telly. It was on a game of Tennis which really bored me enough to make me let out a yawn. I gave one last touch at my slightly damp hair before shrugging, my gaze tiredly locked on the game of Tennis for as long as my eyes could take.

The way he purred out my name...

Obviously, this chapter was inspired by Titanic! I'm madly in love with that film. It really got the watcher's attention. I may have, or may not have bursted out into tears. Sorry if it was short though :(
