"Daisy! Clover" Mother yells and we hurry to the stair well. "Hurry we must leave at once," she adds and I sigh.
"Clover," I say but she hushes me. Then she turns to me with the most serious look on her face. "I am your oldest sister... and I need you to listen to me now," she says.
"You have to do everything I tell you," she says and then looks to Mother.
"Don't disobey them right now... and please don't be disrespectful," she adds and grabs her luggage.
"Well little sister this is it," Clover sighs then moves toward the stairs where are Mother awaits.
"I'm sorry my Clover but your Father cannot say no because they are the leaders and we cannot get you out of this," Mother says to Clover then she looks at me.
"Yes Mama I understand what my duties are," Clover says.
"Girls lets' go," Father orders and we hurry outside with our suit-cases.
"Father must we do this," I ask and Mother comes to us. "Daisy why can't you accept this? Clover has," Mother hisses to me and I look down. "Mama don't be mean to Daisy she is only 16," Clover says . Father glares at us for a second before looking down at his watch.
"We're late! Get into the limo," he snaps and we whisper in our sorry as we got into the ride.
Once we got seated and comfortable in the car the driver slams on the gas. Father looks at Clover and I. "Now the boys you are to marry are able to be however they want to be to you both. You are not to speak in disobediences to them," Father says with concern.
"You can't divorce them or come back to the house for long periods of time either," Mother adds.
"Father," I say but my mouth goes dry "yes Daisy," Mother answers for Father "Nothing," I say quickly and look out the window.
What happen to my freedom?
When we stopped at a house that reminded me of a mansion you would see in a Beverly hills movie my jaw dropped.
"We are here," Father says and opens the car door too impatient to wait on the driver. There are two other limo's parked outside of the giant new home.
I look back at the house as Mother climbs out of the car. It was white with a gray roof. two tower's were at it's side and I'm pretty sure to navigate it they had to call one side the west wing and the other the east wing.
The windows are wide and I could make out a few empty rooms.
I step out of the car and see the front lawn; it was covered in a variety of flowers. Rose's, Tulips, Daisy's, and Lilies. The small square bushes are in a row all the way to the front door.
Finally I break my view of the house and turn to Father whom is talking to a servant.
"Evening Sir. Are these the ladies to live here?" the servant asked. He was handsome and tall for a servant. The boy had dark brown hair and pale gray eyes that seemed to be storming when he looked at my Father.
"Yes they are. Do you know when the parents' will be arriving?" Father asked the servant boy; then the boy glanced up at me and my heart seemed to melt. His eyes flickered over me once then again before returning back to my Fathers' gaze.
"She's beautiful isn't she," Father says in a disgusted tone. "I-I I'm sorry Sir. I meant no disrespect," the boy says. "She's my daughter and she is engaged so eyes off," Father snaps. I hurry forward and touch my Father's arm.
"Father no harm was done. He knows now, don't be so harsh," I say gently and Father smiles as he pats my arm. "Sorry," Father says before looking back at the servant.
I look at the servant as well and see that he is muscular and has broad shoulders too, his hair sort of hangs in his face and his nose is at medium size. His black servant suit seems to go well with his golden skin color.
"They have already arrived and are coming outside to meet you now," the servant says and Father moves away from us.
"What is your name," I ask "It isn't right for a soon to be married woman to ask another handsome boy's name is it?" the servant says with a devilish grin. "I didn't ask to be married," I grumble.
"Ahh it's arranged," he says darkly. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you that," I say and blush. "My name is Wesley," he says before turning and walking away.
I look over to my Father. He is talking to a man with brown hair and calm brown eyes, the man is kind of plump and is wearing a navy suit with a red tie. His face looks like he has seen too much sadness and doesn't show any sign of a smile. He is holding a black briefcase at his side. I remember him. He was at the party earlier. He changed his cloths?
There is a woman next to him; she looks short and as a long nose with brown muddy eyes and thin lips. Her gray hair is wrapped tightly in a bun and her blue dress matches the man's eyes.
I approached Father and the man looked to me before extending his arm "why hello there," he greets. I recoil back fast and Father glares at me. "Sorry sweetheart. My name is Mr. Peep but you may call me Henry," the man smiles.
"This is my youngest daughter Daisy," Father informs Mr. Peep. "Daisy? Oh! Henry she's our daughter-in-law," the woman squeaks.
