Changed Got Real

four // memo.

It's as if it just happened super fast and in tiny increments I saw pieces of it. Sprinklekit is dead, that's what I know. And then, that moment came to me and haunted me... for about 5 weeks. I do not understand why that happened. "Squid Dog... why?" I ask, simply just to know why he killed someone's mother. "I didn't expect that to happen, and I never meant to kill anyone. I am truly sorry, a3iL." I was very sad, and I realized that Lunar might know about her mother being deceased.

But how do I break it to her?

This seems... impossible. I can't tell Lunar that her mother died! I'm toast if I do... Oh man, this is gonna be one bad night, I guess.

heya, a3iL. what's up?

oh, nothing... just chilling. you?

i'm on my way to your place to hang out! this is gonna be so fun!

"Re-hide the body." I scurry in a panic, and Puro literally carries Sprinklekit's body out, and then back into the basement. "Thank you, Puro." I say, breathing heavily. I start setting everything up and grab the remote to start choosing some movies and shows. Shizi puts a paw on my shoulder and kneels down next to me, trying to comfort me. "It's alright, a3iL. Times are tough, and we are sorry for killing your friends' mother. We hope you're gonna be okay now, we've seen you traumatized for a couple weeks." I hug Shizi and round up all the latex beasts to go upstairs.

Then she came.

I get greeted with a kind smile and a hug. "Hi, a3iL. Glad to see that you've been okay! I haven't heard from you in a while, so..." Lunar trails off, and I sit her down on the couch. "What movie or show you wanna watch?" I ask, smiling at her.

"Oh, let's watch some YouTube instead! I think that's gonna be more interesting!"

I was shaking. I did not expect this. But you know what? Fine. I'm gonna just easily have this night over with, and she will leave. Come on, a3iL. You got this! I thought to myself. So, I just put on YouTube and began to just watch videos. For 4 hours. "Oh, that was really fun! See ya, a3iL," Lunar says, winking at me. Does she know? I think. No, that's not possible, right?... I keep wondering to myself and I head upstairs to my room for the night. I shut my eyes and go to sleep.

The next day, however, was especially odd. The news automatically turned on my TV. "What the..." I trail off and ponder. The news just had the usual, until...

[BREAKING NEWS! Local mother goes missing and is unable to be found!]

My body froze and in that moment, I knew I was dead. Until, I get lucky and not get called out for it. They never knew. I wonder, though... how do they pass by my house? Is it that unnoticeable? Oh, right... I painted it so it'd had blended in. I facepalm and just sit down. "I don't like my odds," I say, whilst watching the news. I then get up and make some coffee.

I...

I heard a splat sound... 

The memories...

Oh no...

"What the fuck happened?!" I exclaim, rushing over.

Then I see Sprinklekit. 

They always come back. But I'm over it. "Feng Yu, please make me a coffee. I need to just... relax." Feng Yu rushes down the stairs and makes me my coffee. "You seem down lately," he says. "Yeah, everything happened... so fast..." I trail off. Feng Yu just pats my back and just sits down right next to me. It's like he knows my pain.

She's dead, and Squid Dog killed her. Lunar's mother. "Hide the body," I say. "Quickly." And then Tiger Shark just throws her in the basement. I was surprised, and also terrified. "Squid Dog, what the fuck...?!" I almost shouted. "Sorry," Squid Dog says, looking down.

I need to get them under control.

I wish that didn't happen. I really wish. But it did. I don't know why. I don't like things that terrify me. And they also seem very protective at times. They don't want me doing anything, I suppose. "I want to forget that ever happened, Feng Yu." My hair gets ruffled and Feng Yu says, "It's okay, a3iL. You're with us now. Just pretend you don't remember, and it'll all go away. I promise..." He trails off too. We're all sad that had to happen.

It did, and now... I don't know what else to do anymore about this situation. Sprinklekit is still dead.

She's dead, and Squid Dog killed her. Lunar's mother.

"Squid Dog..." I mumble out. I was in disbelief I was still even allowed to remember. And I thought I forgot about what happened just 3 weeks after 'The Incident'.

"Hide the body," I say. "Quickly."

The basement is where Sprinklekit's dead body resides. "Basement..." I mumble again. I just sit there. Sad. I just a bunch of hugs from the rest of latex beasts, that somehow I didn't know, were overhearing the whole thing. I just cry silently to myself as they all hug me.

I don't wanna work tomorrow.
