Chapter 4

Hanbin woke up from his alarm. He put his uniform and headed for the door. He put his shoes and and walked outside. He yawned and got on his bike and rode to school.

He met his friends at the gate. Gyuvin cleared his throat. "I'm sorry for yesterday." He said avoiding eye contact. Hanbin patted his shoulder. "It's fine."

Taerae notices something. "You look real tired. What did you do yesterday?"

"I.." He paused. He didn't want to tell them the truth. Especially to Gyuvin. He knows how much Gyuvin dislikes Zhanghao snd doesn't want to ruin their friendship.

"I've been binge watching a show.'

Gunwook sighed and shook his head. "You're changing. You used to be hear earlier than everyone else and now your late. Later than us."

Hanbin laughed awkwardly. "Yeah..let's just in the building."

The teacher came in the classroom and got the students attention.

"Alright class! Today we are having a project and we're doing it in pairs. But don't get your hopes up. I'll be picking partners today."

The students groaned.

The teacher put his hand in a big bowl with the students names. He began calling names. Next was Hanbin's.

"Hanbin and.."

Gyuvin crossed his fingers.

"Zhanghao."

Gyuvin slouched in his chair. "This is so unfair. I hate Mr. Choi for this.."

Hanbin looked behind him. Zhanghao smiled a bit and so did he. He was happy he got Zhanghao as his partner, but felt bad for Gyuvin at the same time.

Hanbin and Zhanghao sat next to each other in the classroom since the teacher assigned it.

"Alright students. You'll need a poster, information, evidence, and supplies for your project. Make tmsure the poster has some sort of designs and is not plain. Okay?"

The bell rang and the students got up to leave.

Hanbin and Zhanghao walked out of the school. Zhanghao got in front of Hanbin. "Let's head to the art store. To make our poster stand out."

Hanbin nodded. "Sure. But who's paying for all the stuff?"

Zhanghao pointed to himself. "Me of course. I'm the one who wants to go to the store so I'll pay."

He smiled showing his teeth. Hanbin couldn't help but smile back. "Alright. Let's go."

They walked around the art store to look at stuff for their poster. Zhanghao just started to pick up stuff while Hanbin just watched.

Hanbin crossed his arms. "It's like taking a kids to a toy store. They start grabbing rings because they belive they're in heaven."

Zhanghao frowned. "Well we have to make out poster stand out. Like.." He grabbed something. "Lights."

He put it in the basket.

Hanbin looked through the basket. "We should just go simple. Like a background and cotton balls. We don't need to go all out."

Zhanghao sighed. "Fine. You're right. Let's just go with the sky background and cotton balls. But can we at least keep the lights?"

Hanbin didn't say anything. Zhanghao groaned.

"Don't make me get on my knees and beg. That's embarrassing."

He put his hands on his hips. Hanbin looked away. "Fine. We can get them."
