"(Y/N) has arrived! (Y/N) has arrived!" A random crow began to call aloud as you entered your master's residence. You were previously told via crow that the Master wanted to give you a mission, but you were also told that there were specific details you needed to be aware of. As you kneeled down at the foot of the main building, you saw the figures of Ubuyashiki and his two daughters emerge from it.

"How are you, my child?" He smiled as you felt happy just seeing him alive and able to speak with you. "Please, come up here with me."
"I'm alright, Master." You replied, as you got up to sit on the wooden floor with him and the two other females. "It's good to see you doing well."
"Thank you and it's good to see you as well." Ubuyashiki began. "I'm sure your aware of why you're here now, so I'll get straight to the point. Near the village where you will be headed, there is a forest that contains a certain type of plant.

"According to citizens of the village, the plant emits a mist and since no one knows what effect it would have on them, they never went near it. However, this mist wasn't always there." He continued. "Your are going to investigate the forest and see what could have planted the flower to begin with and if you could collect any of the plant or its mist in a vial for research. That is all for now."
You stood up and bowed your head.

"Please stay safe, my child." Your master informed you.
"Stay safe as well, Master." And like that, you were off. Your crow already told you the destination, so all you needed to do was begin your journey...

"You're finally awake." You heard a familiar voice as you opened your eyes to a familiar environment. All for one. "Did you enjoy your dream?" As you went over what you experienced before waking up, you realised exactly what it was. A memory. A memory of just before you left out to the same mission you passed out in.

"Why,... how,...?" You asked him. Your arms were tied behind your back and so were your legs.
"I simply made you sleep to help you remember your past." He said. "The thing with 'Thousand-year mist blooms' is that you forget the last seventy-two hours before you fall asleep. You were lucky though. Most people take longer to wake up, but you only took around three hundred years."

'Thousand-year mist blooms?'

You guessed that was the name given to the flower you were meant to investigate, but three hundred years was a long time. All the other Hashiras,... Master, his wife and daughters,... Nezuko and Tanjiro,...
"I can bring you back." Your head shot up at the figure. Just knowing that you may be able to see the people you'll never see again made you feel somewhat hopeful.

"Bring me back,"
"Now?" The man questioned, since he could tell that you didn't even think it through. "You won't be able to come back you know." You were silent. It was then you began to think of the new friends and family you've made since coming here. "I'll give you time to think it through." The male opened some sort of void, which pulled you in. "We'll see each other again soon enough."

What just happened was all too familiar to you, from when you first arrived. Your meeting with that villain gave you a lot of things to consider, but the question about the abandoned mansion was still unanswered. Currently, you sat on your own bed in your own home and it seemed to be sunset. The rope was no longer tied around you, so you got up and began to check around the house for Midnight. When you didn't see her, you called her on your phone and she immediately picked up.

"K-Kito,... is that really you?" By the sound of her voice, you could tell that she had started crying.
"Hello, Kayama," You could hear her tears more now as well as ruffling. "I'm at home right now."
"She's safe!" You could hear your mother call out, probably to whoever was with her. "I'm coming over right now."
"Alright." You answered, as she hung up the phone.
