18_CHEATING.

"What...  But I can't come now I have to go to London, "Michael said over the phone. Eva was sitting beside him.
"Handle the matter. I can't come now," he said again.
He cut the call and ran his fingers in his hair frustratingly.
"Fuck" he cursed.
"What happened Michael?" Eva asked resting her hand on his leg.
"Nothing.. Pack luggage we are going to London " he replied and strommed out of room.
Eva knew something is not ok but he is not telling me due to my mother death. But I can't see him tensed too and at this moment he is not sharing anything with me.
She was thinking when Michael phone rang.
She looked at door to confirm that Michael is not here.
She picked up the call.
"Boss, sorry to disturb you, but I have to inform you that Zoe cheated us . She sold our project to Max . And the company is facing a huge problem ."
She cut the call, and now she knew why he was so tensed and angry at the same time.
She knew he would not let her go alone to London back . Neither will he stay here alone to handle the matter.
She made the decision and went to the balcony where Michael was smoking.
"Michael," she said .
"Hmm,"
"I don't want to go London," she said
Michael turned to see her face .
"Why?" He asked, not sure why she changed her decision at the very last moment.
"I know if we go there, my father will do something bad to you, and I don't want that," she said, giving him excuse she knew Michael could handle everything in London .
But she doesn't want to act selfish at this moment.
Her mother is dead and she can't do anything by going  back to London.
Except to cry, and she can cry here too.
"But.."  Michael wanted to say.
"No, I made up my mind already.  And I don't want more words on this conservation, " she said and went back to her room. Holding her tears, she went to the washroom and cried her heart out.
How much Michael wanted her not to go back to London, but he wanted to know the exact reason for her not wanting to go back.
He went inside and heard the water drop sound from the bathroom.
He dialled a number.
" Did you contact zoe?...
Trace her fucking number.I want to know where she is " he said and cut the call.
He heared door nob opening.  Eva came outside her eyes were red.
He approached her and cage her in his arms.
Once again she drenched in tears.
"What happened Eva?" He asked politely.
"Mom" she said and held his hoodie tightly.
"Was she angry with me before her death was she don't wanted to see me that much that she closed her eyes forever mic what I did to deserve this "
"Shsh! Darling you did nothing wrong you are innocent my innocent angel . She was not angry at you. Don't say like that and we can go back" he said
"No I don't want to go back. By going there will she became alive again will my father's anger vanish.  No nothing will happen and I want to stay with you only you mic" she said looking in his eyes.
His heartaches looking at her beautiful eyes which are red , swell and tired now.
"What did you do with your eyes? You don't pity me, " he said and kissed her eye and licked her tears .
"I can't see you like that, Eva's.  " he added
Eva's heartbeat increased suddenly, hearing his words.
She smiled.
"I will take a nap now." She said, avoiding his gaze.
"Oh!! I was thinking of calling Emma so she can company you as I have to go, " he said.
Eva knew she would not be able to sleep, and it would be better to be with Emma than crying alone.
"No, no, call Emma, it will be better to spend time with her," Eva replied.
"Ok baby," he said and called Emma.
"Let's go. I will drop you at her place," Michael said to Eva.
Michael informed Emma about that bitch death.
"Take care of her," Michael said, looking at Eva, who was sitting on the couch.
"Don't worry, brother, I will," Emma said with a smile, and Michael nodded.
Now he needs to go to a place where possibly zoe will be.
