Beomgyu's pulling on a shirt when he hears knocks at the door. Knowing that Yunjin said Chaewon would be there first, he unlocks the door and swings it open without a thought, trudging into the living room.
It is, indeed, Chaewon. She makes sure to set all her things on his table and close the front door before she runs to Beomgyu at a speed that would deem impossible, nearly knocking Beomgyu off his feet.
"My baby!" Chaewon screams, throwing herself on Beomgyu. She's jumping on her toes, excitement spewing through her smile as she snakes her arms around his neck. Beomgyu smiles, rocking them side to side. They haven't seen each other in awhile, so the hug lasts longer than normal. "How are you doing?"
"Okay," he mumbles, squeezing his hold around her a bit, "I missed you."
"I missed you too, Gyu." She steps back from the hug, peering up at him, squinting her eyes. "Did you have someone over yesterday?"
"No. I swear I didn't." He holds his hands up, "I actually can survive without meeting people everyday."
She hums, but Beomgyu doesn't think he did a good job convincing her.
He stalks up to her multiple bags, desperate to get away from her gaze, peeking through each bag in absolute horror. "Chae," he calls, pulling out a maxi skirt, "did you go shopping before coming here?"
She grins, and Beomgyu knows that smile. She did not get these for herself.
"It's for you!" She says, pulling each and every different clothing out of the bag. Skirts, jeans — she had everything in here. "It is a Barbie theme, isn't it? Yunjin and I knew you weren't going to go full out with the decorations, so we thought up an idea to get you to at least go full out with your outfits."
