Such a handsome young boy. Such a caring and loving soul, a young but wise soul. His body might grow, and he's becoming a man without his knowledge, but his mind is the same. He stayed in the past, watching his future flow around him. Never has he thought that one day his life would become nothing. He didn't know, that one day, all he built and all the people he led would become ashes, in a matter of a second, in the blink of an eye, everything would be gone, and eventually, the ones who lived would go on with their lives and as he did, leave him in the past along with the memories they built. His home, and everything inside, it's no longer here, it's no longer his. Nothing is the same, but still, he wished he had more time left, more time with that child he met at Sir Roderich's place, who was supposed to be a girl, and his supposed future. It's war, a sad truth, and a painful reality, if you lose it won't matter, if you win neither will that. After all, everything's going down within it. Everyone and everything will be ashes and memories. They will only remember you for your heroic acts, maybe they'll call you a saint like Joan of Arc, or you'll be forgotten like most genuine people are. Is this death? I may ask. Is this where his time stops and everything goes on? All this war for nothing, all of the blood was spilled for nothing, all the soldiers whose life was taken, all for nothing? They lost. They lost the war. Everything was for nothing, in the end, the death of a nation still occurred. The little boy, whose war he fought, whose life came to an end, a tragic one, fate came to him quickly. All the knights, with their faces on the ground, with guilt and sadness in their poor eyes, the ones who thought they were going to be heroes, came back to Sir Roderich's place, announcing their defeat. "We weren't able to prevent anything. The death of a country happened, a young soul died." The soldiers reported back to Roderich. He ever felt that much sadness for some time, the thought of being useless haunted his head, he let a young one die in the arms of war. It's a horrible thought. "Is this my fate? Is this where everyone forgets me? I've never thought god had such a painful end for me. All my knights are around me, are they screaming? I can see some poor souls crying, I apologize my people for disappointing you, if god gave me another chance I will make you remember me." As he looks up, glimpsing at the number of people mourning him, he can feel the grass absorbing him. His eyes became heavier and his body forgot how to breathe. "So this is how I die? Shameful." He thought as he lost consciousness. "If my destiny is this cruel if god thinks I'm no longer useful as a nation, how have I got this far?" Every thought came at him, rushing through his mind as his breath shortened. "Dying alone on the battlefield must be a heartless way to heaven", was his last thought before god rested him. He blinked roughly as he gained consciousness. "Is this heaven? Have I really died in the arms of war?" He began shaking, and until his last breath, he hoped for another chance. A white room. "How is this heaven? How can heaven be a white chamber?" Until he could gather his thoughts, a lofty-looking angel came to him, or he assumed it was an angel. The angel spoke firmly to the young one. "I'm the ruler of everything Your Majesty", the angel expressed. "The ruler of everything?" The boy began to doubt this entitled angel, he held the element of one, but the aura of a devil, almost making the unspeakable in between. "Are you the fallen one?" The boy questioned this divinity. "No, I'm not the fallen one, but I'm no angel either." The entity expressed itself. "So my doubts must be true, you're a devil who's trying to lure me?!" The boy panicked as this was his only logical answer. "I can see why you're a saint to them HRE, I'm the in-between, you must know me as Time. I'm what guided you here, I'm the one who's going to show you the tomorrow." The boy hesitated as the entity words didn't make sense to him. "Time? My tomorrow? It doesn't make sense, I'm dead, I lost the war! Sir Roderich must already know of my wicked fate." The entity stayed noiseless, almost emphatic for the boy. "I know hearing all this must be painful for you, but heaven is waiting my dear, after I conclude my sole job you're going to endless peace." The boy looked at the entity, almost witnessing sadness on its nonexistent face. "Then I must accept your request, I'm gonna do as you like only if you vow I'll see Eden." As the boy spoke, the entity started functioning. in front of them appeared an exit. I must be having a crazy dream, the boy thought. Through the exit, you could view a street, a German-looking street. "Mister Ruler of..?", the boy struggled to convey. "Call me Juno", the entity responded to the boy's surprise. "Then, Juno, I don't recall knowing what were viewing?". The deity peeked at the boy "It's your supposed forthcoming HRE, the timeline is 2000." The boy stopped at his phrase, and began to shake from excitement. "The 2000s?! That's a long time in the future! But how could this be my tomorrow?". The boy looked in front observing the exit as something began moving. It was a fellow who resembled HRE in every pattern possible. "Is that me?! I supposed god already reached me?". The deity glanced at the boy. "HRE this is your body but not your soul. When you passed, only your soul got to heaven, your body on the other hand remained on earth." The boy sighted. "So my people did lose me in the end. Does he have a name?". The deity responded, "His name is Ludwig". The boy looked at his hereafter with a peaceful face "So the reason I didn't receive a name was that I didn't have time to use it. God how you played with me." The deity stayed silent watching the boy look at his future. "Sometimes I forgot you're still a child HRE, you have the soul of an elder one." The boy looked at Juno. "And sometimes I forgot you are no human Juno, you have the soul many would pray for." The boy's time is over, Juno as the host he has walked the boy to the stairs of Eden. He looked at the boy with such mortal empathy, a child whose mentality is over his time, whose age doesn't resemble his wisdom, he was too good for his period. Oh god, why do you solely take the best of us?
