010. Trust Me

"The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them."

I heard footsteps coming closer in my direction.

"Astra?.." Bill said coming closer. I wasn't sure what to do, I did not wanna stay anymore, but what if I tried and escape and they would try to kill my gang?

I didn't want to put them in danger, they were my friends.

I decided to make a move for it, I knew that even if I tried to escape, they wouldn't kill me. They needed me

I ran to the gate, looking for any possible body guards that could spot me. I started walking slower now, my gun in my hand.

Suddenly a loud voice echoed through the parking lot ; "Astra!!" Tom shouted, he wasn't mad tho, he was more dissatisfied. I heard louder footsteps coming from behind me, shit. I turned around and pointed my gun to the underground parking, knowing Tom could come out of there in any second now.

I felt my head hit the ground abruptly. A tall figure standing in front of me now, my eyes were woozy, I couldn't see a lot but from his figure and how tall he was I knew it was Bill.

"I got her." Bill snatched the gun out of my hand. "No!!" I shouted through gritted teeth, trying to stand up.

Bill smirked and his the gun in his jacket "I knew you would take advantage of the situation" a low voice growled. I groaned "good, always be one step in front of me" I snapped back at him.

He grabbed my wrist tightly and turned my face to his. "Don't even start, Astra" he then caressed my cheek softly

I pushed him off me "get those dirty hands off of me" I growled.

"You know you have some pretty fascinating guns? Where do you get them made?" Bill asked while admiring my gun. I turned my body to his direction again

"If you give it back I'll tell you." He chuckled. "No way darling, your way to dangerous with that" I rolled my eyes "well how the fuck am I supposed to fight the rival gangs? Do I just stand there doing nothing? Is that why I'm here?"

"We'll give you a gun." I turned my head back to Tom "yeah no, I don't want your plain guns, it also makes it seem as if I'm in your gang, which I'm not!" He chuckled softly and looked over at Bill. I could feel frustration fill my body as they kept looking at eachother. I groaned in annoyance and walked away, back into the underground parking.

She was just laying there in silence, staring out of the window. I could see the boredom in her eyes, she wanted to do something. I got up from my seat and walked up next to her. I sighed "you wanna get out of here?" I asked while looking at her with a small grin on my face. Her eyes lit up, "what?" she asked. I took her hand and we both went downstairs, the others were probably sleeping, or maybe just laying in bed. "Where are we going?" I just pulled her to the underground parking lot and grabbed my keys to open the car up. "Uh Tom? What about your shoulder, are you sure you can drive with it?" She sounded a bit worried which made me feel warm. I nodded and sat down in my car, starting the engine.

She held back a bit before crawling into the car. I looked over at her and a small smile appeared on her face. "Ready?" I asked excited. I haven't raced for a while, well this wasn't actually a race, I just wanted to speed down the roads. She nodded happily, even tho I could see a little bit of fear in her eyes. "Just.. trust me" I said. She looked over to me "how am I supposed to know if I can trust you?" She asked a bit annoyed.

The only way to find out if someone is trustworthy is to trust them once, if they deceive you never trust them again.

I rolled my eyes a bit and in one instant we sped out of the parking lot onto the roads. I could she how she gripped her seat tightly but slowly let go as we sped down the roads, there were no cars, we had 2 lanes to ourselves. I felt my heart rate raising as I kept pushing the accelerator down, making us go faster and faster. I saw Astra's eyes glistening full of joy as we were now reaching 120 mp/h. All of the pain in my shoulder, the worries just left like that as I was speeding down the narrow roads. As I started accelerating even more I felt a soft hand grip mine, Astra was now holding me, probably for comfort. I've never enjoyed someone touching me without permission, but this time it was different. I felt comfortable. She turned her head back to me and I noticed how her cheeks were going red from the embarrassment.

I chuckled low to myself as we made a screeching stop into a small parking lot. I got out of the car and walked over to a bench, sitting down.

He sat down, looking out onto the beautiful view. I never even knew this place existed until now, it's beautiful . You could see Tokyo's tall building lit up, and some cars speeding down empty roads.

I got out of the car and made my way slowly to Tom who was smoking a cigarette. I sat next to him but didn't make eye contact, it was kind of awkward. He held a cig out for me, "want one?" I looked over at him and smiled slightly. "Sure" I said while putting the cig between my lips and grabbing the lighter out of Tom's hands. I lit it up and took a puff out of it before exhaling the smoke quickly. "This view is amazing" I said while looking at the different buildings infront of us. "I know right"
