Pitch Perfect; The Treblemakers

Ch.9

We are still at McDonalds, thinking of what to do next.

"Swimming?" Steven asks.

"Nah. It's too late." Wes says.

"Club?" Donald suggests.

"Yes!" Bumper says, "Let's go!" We all throw our trash away then make our exit.

We meet at the club closest to Barden. We enter and notice the Bellas are here as well. I see them first and immediately go to greet them.

"Hey guys!" I call as I approach the group of girls.

"Hey Maddie!" Amy greets me first. "Do you see those guys over there?" She gestures to a group of really buff and really tan guys standing nearby.

"Yeah. What about them?" I ask.

"Those are my ex boyfriends. It's so awkward running into them here." Amy says.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yeah. But they haven't seen me yet. I've been hiding." Amy states. I look around. She was dancing by herself in the middle of the dance floor.

"Well good luck hiding from your exes." I say as I walk away. She smiles at me and continues to dance.

"Hey Maddie. Having fun?" Beca asks as join her at a table.

"Uh I guess. Clubs aren't really my thing, honestly." I confess.

"Me either. But Aubrey dragged us here so we could bond or something." Beca says, laughing. We talk for a while longer until Jesse comes over and sits with us.

"Hey Beca, Maddie. What are you guys talking about?" He asks.

"Nothing really. Having fun?" Beca asks.

"Not really. The girls here are kinda boring." Jesse states.

"Really? Because it looked like you were having lots of fun with that girl before." I state.

"What girl?" Jesse asks, pretending to not know.

"Oh you know. That girl that was just dry humping you on the dance floor." I reply. Jesse almost chokes on his drink at my statement.

"Are you serious? I haven't danced with any girls!" Jesse exclaims.

"What about that girl over there?" I say, pointing to a petite red head standing at the bar.

"She's been dancing with Greg all night. I think you're drunk Maddie, because I've been talking to Steven all night." Jesse says, smiling at Beca. She immediately looks down at her drink.

"What the fuck..." I whisper to myself as she takes two drinks and walks over to Greg. He takes the drink from her and they begin dancing together. "What the hell does he think he's doing?" I stand up , but I'm immediately pulled back down.

"Uni is right there. He's going to be suspicious if he sees you yelling at Greg for that." Beca states.

"He's drunk. He won't remember this tomorrow." I reply.

"He isn't drunk. He's the designated driver." Jesse says.

"God dammit! I want to slap Greg and that girl right now." I exclaim. Beca and Jesse start talking again, but I'm too focused on Greg to listen to them.

"Hey Maddie." Kolio says.

"Oh hey Kolio." I reply.

"Want to dance?" He asks.

"You know what? Yeah." I say, taking his hand.

"Maddie! Don't do anything stupid." Beca says. I nod and walk away. Kolio and I go near where Greg is to dance. I focus on dancing with Kolio and ignore Greg dancing with the redhead.

After a while, a slow song comes on. Just as Kolio and I part, I look over at Greg and he's still dancing with the redhead, oblivious to anything happening around him. Seething, I pull Kolio back and lead him closer to Greg.

"So I guess you like dancing with me?" Kolio asks, smiling.

"Oh. Yeah I guess so. You're a good dancer." I say.

"Thanks. You are too. So do you have your eye on any guys?" Kolio asks.

"Oh yeah. I definitely do." I state, glaring at Greg again. I barely notice Kolio smirk after I say that.

"Mind telling me who it is?" Kolio asks, smirking some more.

"It's kind of a secret." I say, finally making eye contact with Kolio.

"Well, let me try and figure it out." Kolio states.

"Alright, you can try." I reply.

"Is it Bumper?"

"Oh god no." I say, laughing a bit.

"Donald?"

"Nope. He's too much of a player for me."

"Brian?"

"No, he's like a brother."

"Steven?"

"He's like my weird younger brother, ew."

"He's older than you!"

"Yeah, but still." I say, both of us laughing.

"Alright well I have no idea who else it could be."

"See, I told you you couldn't figure it out." I state, smirking.

"Let me take one more wild guess." Kolio says just as he starts to lean in. My eyes widen and I immediately freeze.
